My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a guy looking for another guy to do guy things with.

My life has taken a good number of twists and turns, ups and downs, and given me my fair share of volatility. Resultantly, I'm in a good place where I'm still learning about myself and how to be the Lean In woman Sheryl Sandberg always wanted me to be. Despite not really know what I'm meant to be doing quite yet, I have a strong sense of purpose that I apply to most facets of my life. One being the need to one day father a Shiba Inu and have his face as the next president on the Doge Coin.

For a personal description of myself, I'm typically a reticent person. Private, introverted, and maybe even formidable are words that I'd use to describe myself. My intent isn't to be closed off or intimidating, but it just happens that I warm up slowly and take careful steps like the cautious Capricorn that I am. I'd have to post a Johari's window to see what good traits I retain, but I'd like to believe I'm a highly reliable person who treats people I care about with courtesy, understanding, and respect: a true southern gentleman if I may.

Oddly, I'm drawn to witty crudeness and enjoy a good level of openness in a conversation. I also really like video games and sports...like a lot.

In regards to what I'm looking for, I'd be lying if I said I was open to all types of looks, proclivities, and personalities. I'm sure there are certain characteristics and traits that I have an affinity towards, but regardless, I do believe in the capacity for all people of different walks of life to establish a level of friendship and camaraderie.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've sold my soul temporarily to corporations with an underlying intent to one day stand up at my cubicle, scream "I quit!," and smash my laptop into the ground. Aside from instances of hysterics, I have a dream to be a superhero - in a practical sense. Working a 8PM - 6PM day job allows me to live comfortably, but also allows me to continually plan my vision to one day start a new non-profit or ramp up my existing one. I have to say that I have a knack for mentoring and really enjoy listening as much as I do dispensing advice that's more philosophical than pragmatic when it comes to helping a protege plan his/her career trajectory.

Needless to say, every day in the office brings me one step closer towards offering me long walks on the beach in the south of France, and new systems of education and meals for children in Africa.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I suppose I'm good at listening, although I'll have many moments where I'll have to stop you to say you're talking too much about yourself.

Not to toot my own horn, but I do make a mean lava cake for anyone who has a sweet tooth.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People say I'm too serious and I'd actually like to agree. But that just means if you can make me laugh, you're that much more funny.

For an Asian, I'm quite hairy. I believe it comes from my paternal grandfather who graciously passed down a full beard and a pair of hairy legs.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books:
For my dark days: Haruki Murakami, J.M. Coetzee,
For my philosophical days: Joseph Campbell, Oliver Sachs, Immanuel Kant, Millman, Jim Holt, Leonard Mlodinow
For my cynical days: David Foster Wallace, Robert Greene, Dr. Seuss

When I'm happy, you'll find me debating reads catalyzed by my dark, philosophical, and cynical days.

Movies:
I'm quite impressionable - so I try to avoid anything that is vindictive, murderous, or diabolical. I've lost some good friends after watching House of Cards.

Food:
I will eat anything that moves. I'm petitioning more restaurants to have a carnivore option on their menus.

Music:
Currently playing --> Hans Zimmer, Yann Tiersen

6.) I could probably do without a lot of stuff, but really enjoy bougie things.
