I'm a 4th-year university student at Korea University, majoring in International Studies. I've also been active in the debate community in Korea, and work part-time as a teacher at a "hagwon."

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Right now I'm concentrating on finishing my studies, and making plans for the future. Future plans are, I am realizing, much more difficult to make than they are to actually accomplish (as outlandishly ironic as they sound). The fact that I must do 3 years of military service upon graduation somewhat affects my future, but I choose to look at it as a career experience, not a chore.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

Random chatter. Also, I have managed to acquire a lot of obscure and trivial knowledge that no one really cares for. (My random knowledge spans from the basics of medieval alchemy to the history and future outlook of space exploration. Curiously, I still don't know any calculus...)

I had been the captain of the university English-language, Parliamentary debate team for a while, though I've retired from it now. Being a college senior is a lot of stress, as well as very hectic time. It could also be my last chance to have fun. Certainly as an innocently naive undergraduate peon. So I try to enjoy it to the extent possible.

I wish I knew. No, really. Beyond my looks, I don't know what people first notice about me. And it's not that my looks are particularly noticeable. So, if you notice something remarkable about me, do share.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Books: Too many to even list. Current favourite is "Freakonomics."

Movies: Again, can't list them all. Of the recently viewed, I enjoyed "Accepted" and "Stardust." I also went to some length to comprehend "Babel" and "The Good Shepherd," and think I do to an extent.

I have a habit of looking up the movie trivia and other information on IMDB and Wikipedia as soon as I finish watching the movie.

Food: I'm a great fan of exotic, foreign food. While Korean dishes have their appeals (I AM a great fan of grilled pork, samgyeopsal), lately I have developed an appetite for Indian and Turkish food. My current favourite would be naan bread with lamb curry.

I like watching plays and musicals. I just wish the tickets weren't so expensive.
