Originally from Canterbury, England (home of the famous Tales of Canterbury author Chaucer and the Canterbury Cathedral), I moved to NYC in 2003 on temporary internship, and never left. I've always been fascinated with American culture, history, and its natural beauty. I'm happiest spending time in the outdoors fishing, and boating, and prefer nature over the concrete jungle at times. As an avid animal lover, I often foster homeless pets and recently adopted a kitten found in the streets of Brooklyn named "Morris". He is now the biggest, fattest and most spoiled pet in all of the city!

I love living in the city, and I see meeting that special partner as a critical step to moving on to the next chapter in my life.

Currently working at a media company that produces large scale financial conferences, in sales. After years of hard work, I now enjoy the freedom that comes with a senior level position. I enjoy my work which has afforded me the chance to travel the world. However I am the type who works to live, not lives to work. Therefore I am looking forward to taking more time for weekend escapes and leisure trips, but would prefer to have the prefect partner in crime to go with.

Having been born and raised in Europe, I got the party scene out of my blood at an early age, and prefer nice dinners out as opposed to bar hopping. This makes it tricky to meet people so I am trying this with an open mind.

Boxing. It's one of my passions and keeps me in fighting shape. I also enjoy outdoor sports as an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. I'm also an excellent cook and often host dinners for friends. I'm also a huge wine aficionado. I'm looking for someone who is also active and educated.

Favorite movies include Good Will Hunting, Tell No One, Field of Dreams, Big Fish...I appreciate the father son relationship theme of those last two films.

As for food I like all types but good Indian food tops my list. Unfortunately I have yet to find any in NY that rivals what we get at home. The one thing NY does right is Italian, another favorite of mine.
