My self-summary
I'm awesome. For many reasons.

I'm a professional musician and producer. I play with a bunch of different artists and groups of all different genres. So there's always something fun to do when hanging with me.

I don't drink (almost a year now), but I smoke herb.

I'm kinda shy, but once I open up, I'm quite fun.

I never got into the sleeping around thing. I'm all sorts of loyal.

I would love to find that one special someone. A person that becomes so close with me that we finish each others sandwiches.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a musician. I play bass with a number of artists and groups around NYC and the rest of the country. I'm an engineer and producer as well. I try to sleep at least once a month, as long as it's convenient.
I’m really good at
Besides the aforementioned musical leanings, I'm also really good at drawing pretty pictures, and printing pretty pictures onto shirts. Oh, and I make a very delicious vegetarian chili.
The first things people usually notice about me
First they hear my sweet bass grooooooves. Then they look in the darkened corner to the side of the stage, and notice the skinny guy with the tattoos rockin to music that doesn't necessarily call for a guy to rock out to. Because that's how I roll.

I sometimes look like this crazy badass rocker guy, but I'm kinda more a weird post-punk, jazz, goth guy. And I play with a lot of singer/songwriters.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
It'd probably be easier to ask what I don't like. The list would be much shorter.
But since inquiring minds want to know, some random obsessions include:
Peter Gabriel, Public Image Ltd., XTC, The Police, Ben Folds, Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Bauhaus/Love And Rockets, King's X, Type O Negative, The Smiths/Morrissey, Life Of Agony, Jeff Buckley, Miles Davis, Ulver, P-Funk/George Clinton/all 47,000 projects related to the P-Funk family, Boards Of Canada, Joy Division/New Order, Anything Mike Patton related, Frank Zappa, Sisters Of Mercy, the Cure, Wu Tang Clan and all related projects, etc. etc. etc.
Some favorite authors are Chuck Palahniuk, Neil Gaiman, Henry Rollins, and all sorts of various music biographies. Oh, and tons of comics and graphic novels.
Monty Python stuffs, Princess Bride, anything Mel Brooks, Kevin Smith films, SLC Punk...
Kids In The Hall, Weeds, Californication, CARTOONS!!!!
Delicious food - allergic to all seafood, but I have two of the best taco trucks in my neighborhood, and an incredible empenada place on my block.
The six things I could never do without
Music. Coffee. Friends. Love. Art. Hilarious stuff.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Songs I'm learning or writing, how the current mix can be better, what I can do to afford even better drum mics, etc. Also, these days, accessibility. I stumbled into the world of disability studies recently, and it occupies my brain a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually in the studio, or playing a gig.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was engaged to an amputee, and I think it would be nice to date another one.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, casual sex
You should message me if
I decided that if I were to meet someone who was proficient at woodwinds, strings, piano and were a mastering engineer, I'd marry them in an instant. We'd be unstoppable!

However, you should still message me if:
You're open to all styles of music (I'm all over the place).
You're a creative person.
You're not afraid to act like a kid.
You love cartoons.
You can't click on the tab that says "The Two Of Us" without singing The Beatles song from the Let It Be album.
You're not afraid of Jersey City. Apparently people think it's a whole different country or something, or that it's totally ghetto. My neighborhood is awesome, though. On my block is a luxury high rise, a Barcade, and Two Boots Pizza. All signs of really nice neighborhood.

As I mentioned before, I tend to be on the shy side, so a lot of times I won't message you first. Usually it's because I'm busy trying to think of something truly awesome to say. That said, it's probably better to message me first...
