My self-summary
I returned to New York a couple of years ago after spending the better part of a decade in Nashville. While I loved life there, New York continued to call my name so I decided to give it another go. Like many others, I've kept myself busy with friends and festivities but have now decided to actively expand my options.

To share a snapshot of me, I'm going to use the description a close friend once used:

Gregarious, fiery- both in appearance and in nature, harbors a precious melancholy that very few get a chance to see, emotionally aloof, painfully attractive, a loyal friend, stubborn as a mofo, catty but not malicious, fashion IQ well above average, her scent causes euphoria, is not familiar with the word conformity, quick to anger but also quick to push her anger aside, short life span due to her inability to stand upright for too long without tipping over, has the greatest laugh in the world.
What I’m doing with my life
Doing my best to enjoy it.
The first things people usually notice about me
Visually: my height
Audibly: my laugh
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Good movies and TV shows are the bee's knees. My old art school self would be appalled but it's true. I love the whole production and appreciate every aspect. I admire a meticulous script supervisor as well as a fine actor. And then there are documentaries! I love them all. Well, truth be told, I'm not a fan of horror but game for the rest.

I've completely submerged myself into comedy recently so all of my books are either by comedians or about comedy. With the exception of a Tom Robbins novel I have on my nightstand. I'm also subscribed to way too many comedy podcasts with a sprinkling of culture and informative podcasts to keep a decent balance.

I don't even have the energy to go into what I like in music. I love too much of it. I've done a poor job of keeping up with new bands but love to learn about them. I'm also a sucker for seeing live music. I do miss that part of Nashville. So many fantastic musicians from all genres at every corner.
The six things I could never do without
Pets, humor, hugs, someone to share a conversation with, travel, and memories.
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying time with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I reference a Seinfeld episode at least 3 times a day in my head but usually only admit to 1 publicly.
