My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My profile picture is me and my travel buddy Flash. I don't have any children. Adore kids, just hasn't been in the cards for me to have any so far.

I am just unapologetically me...I am from the Deep South. I am full of Southern Charm and wit...a little piss and vinegar too. I have a bunch of tattoos but you would never know it if you saw me on the street. I speak my mind but I am not harsh. I tend to like very strong willed, independent women. Women who are feisty, opinionated, and have a soft spot and a passion for some cause. Very easy to talk to and comfortable in my own skin. I spent most of my life in a small city where everyone knew everyone's business (Think Steel Magnolias on steroids) but I love big city urban life. I like to fish and ride horses. I like to get lost on country roads wind up at places I never knew existed. I love to
read and I love to write old fashioned letters. I am a saver of animals, all shapes and sizes. I like sports of all kinds and love going to see them in person. I am a delta blues aficionado. Music is second only to animals on my list of things I could not imagine living without. Dive bars and mountain roads and the hustle and bustle of a busy city make me smile. Sometimes an urban adventure is more exciting than any other.
I want someone to spend my time with. I want to trade music and go people watching and sit up late at night talking about deep things and things that are ridiculous. I come with a soon to be HUGE Neapolitan Mastiff named Flash. If big slobbery dogs bother you, we will not be a match. If you like Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Pop Tarts though that is definitely a plus.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a long term career in IT that I have traded in, at least for the time being, in favor of something more emotionally satisfying. I try to be outdoors as much as possible. I also try to spend as much time as possible with my 3 nieces and my 2 great nephews. These days that is mostly Skype or face time. I travel as often as possible even if it is just a short day trip to a place I have never been before. Basically just trying to get the most I possibly can out of every moment in my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Letting life come to me but knowing when it's time to go after what I want. I'm am an exceptional smartass and part time cynic. Not the bitter kind, the kind that knows how to laugh away life's inconsistencies. Driving, photography, training dogs, writing poetry, making people feel important and appreciated.

People have also commented often on my laid back personality. Oh and my southern accent.

I don't care for techno or dub-step.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Passion-without it life has no meaning to me
Long talks with people who truly know me, and sometimes too with total strangers.
Music-it is a part of everything in my life. It is a constant companion.
My dog-sounds trite and cliche I know but life without dogs would suck.
Feeling connected to my fellow man and humanity as a whole.
Trust- I can't imagine a life void of trust.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Music, quantum physics, why I didn't eat when I had the time, why the world couldn't have been made to run on a nocturnal schedule instead of a daylight schedule, why the person who invented weekends thought 2 days would be enough.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably sitting around being lazy. Unless there is a good band playing close by then I am definitely there. I have done the bar scene though and there is just nothing left there for me besides music. I like to go don't get me wrong, but not all the time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies and I think Star Trek is boring. I also think Son Volt beats the shit out of Wilco any day of the week. "Mermaid Avenue" is the exception. For most of my life, if it went through my head it came out of my mouth. These days my filter works 75% of the time. Well maybe 50%...

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have a strong opinion on whether Pop-Tarts are better frosted or plain. You have a favorite song by Tom Waits or if when driving you often look around and ask yourself "How did I wind up HERE?" I could go on but that would continue to weed out potential matches and I am just not good looking enough to be able to afford that.

Or if you know who Clarence Whirley is instead of assuming its my real name.
