I am caring, analytical, and shy.

My Self-Summary

Hello! Before I was here because it's so hard to meet bi and gay girls. But now I'm here on the off chance someone sees my profile and feels that I'm their evil twin and we must be friends. Yay.

So here's me:
I'm a very open person. I will talk about anything, and I like people who can do the same. Honesty is the most important thing in the world to me. I don't do polyamory or casual sex. I've been called down-to-earth. I lack that superficial people-pleasing quality that most people seem to have. I am not the smartest person when it comes to math, politics, geography, or lots of things for that matter, but people like to consider me intelligent anyway. I'm terrible at making people laugh, but I've been told I have a good sense of humor. I'm a huge introvert but I need people around. I'm self-deprecating (figure that one out yet?) and a bit of a paradox. But who isn't? I'm interested in all that is beautifully meaningful. I love philosophy and thinking about existence.

I try to have an open mind, and I give most everything a chance, but I've come to find that certain things will just never appeal to me. Certain things are as follows: meaningless action/sci-fi movies/you name it, sports, anime, games that require thinking, RPGs, video/pc games that require thinking, most social gatherings of the pressure-to-interact-with-people-you-hardly-know variety. I am a typical female.

Some things I love: music related games, not-very-complicated board games, card games, drinking games, dancing, shopping, being a goof ball, philosophical conversations, exercise, cooking, reading, watching movies and tv with people, plunking around on guitar and bass, wishing I had the motivation to get good at it, writing, and just enjoying the atmosphere (aka picking my nose and sitting around).

:D

What I’m doing with my life

I'm going to a community college and working part-time in retail.

I'm working on my general education until I figure out my major, which used to be psychology. I'm still considering philosophy, library science, liberal arts, sociology, or something completely boring and practical like computer science...

I'm figuring things out and finding my niche.

I’m really good at

Listening. Because the number one thing I care about is understanding people. All part of my morbid curiosity about the human mind...

The first things people usually notice about me

That I'm short and quiet. And the hair. Big poofy dark hair.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Oh yes, we're going there. These things are my life.

Music: I like stuff that has substance and that's melodic...

I'm really into Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls, Fischerspooner, Bayside, MGMT... Green Day was my first favorite. Electronica, punk, ska, indie..yes.

TV: Six Feet Under. Dexter. The L Word. The Office. Daria...I love dramas that aren't melodramatic, comedies that are mostly dry, and unique characters.

Movies: Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Sin City. Hard Candy. An American Crime. Rent. If it's a musical, I probably love it or will once I see it. I like my movies with plenty of subplot and dark themes.

Books: My current favorite author is Mary Roach. I like Edgar Allan Poe. Go Ask Alice. Sybil. Comics by Jhonen Vasquez. Can't get enough of those deep subjects.

Food:
Everything, baby :D

The six things I could never do without

Music. Free time to be with friends. Delicious food. A book. A movie or show to watch.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Life and the people in my life. The big picture. The little pieces.
The character development that's going on in the tv, movies, and books I'm into. The static.

On a typical Friday night I am

Watching a good TV series, spending way too much time on the interwebs reading webcomics or on youtube, fmylife.com, or some other random site. Reading, listening to music, being a dork with my friends, watching movies.

I'm not huge on parties, but I'll go to a kickback every now and then. I have yet to go to a club, rave, or bar, but want to.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

People intimidate me. I'm not a fan of small talk, and I'm rarely the one to break the ice.
