My Self-Summary
Well-educated, well-versed, well-travelled. Grew up in North
America, and have now returned to Europe for professional reasons.
I enjoy the outdoors, more than anything...in
particular skiing,
any/all water
sports. I am currently based in the UK, but my job takes me
throughout Europe and North America. In other words, I possess a
bit of a wild side, preferring "the road less travelled". I despise
sloths, boredom, inactivity and most importantly ignorance. I see
myself as confident and aware and expect the same of my partner. I
value learning, education and the wisdom that comes
with listening to what those around you have to say in an attempt
to keep my eyes and mind open to new experiences, thoughts and
feelings.
I’m really good at
1) Staying close to my family, despite the fact that I am usually
roaming the world.
2) Other than that, I guess I'm good at sports....rowing and skiing (snow) in particular. Having competed in rowing as a university athlete, as well as at the international level, makes me really good at.....waking up at 5am :-).
3) Scholastic-type activities. I'm a nerd, with a few strange degrees...not sure how useful they are to me now..but I definitely enjoyed completing them.

If you can challenge me intellectually and athletically, beat me at
my own game, and accept defeat graciously when I beat you at
yours....then I want to talk to you. You must be aware,
open-minded, yet opinionated enough to stand your ground when it
matters most. Most importantly - you must be kind!!! You don't have
to believe in God..but you must believe in something. You must be
close to your family, respect your friends, your coworkers and
especially those that you disagree with. You must have a big heart,
and be willing to share it. You must be unique, adventurous,
passionate and strong...in heart, body and soul.
