My self-summary
I feel my friends would say that I'm a fairly intelligent, authentic and compassionate person who is a bit sarcastic from time to time. I very much enjoy intelligent conversation and love to read books and write. I'm also a big fan of watching films, listening to music, volunteering and exercising. When I'm not doing these activites (or working because bills don't seem to pay themselves) you'll find me socializing with friends somewhere in Milwaukee or planning a trip down to Chicago.

I am intelligent, humorous, and authentic
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a paralegal at a small firm in downtown Milwaukee. It's a great way to get exposed to the culture of the legal field and the vocation of a lawyer as I'm eyeing up the possibility of law school in the near future...
I’m really good at
Reading. I've always got a book on me to read in case there's some down time. I also enjoy writing, though I wouldn't call myself necessarily something I'm really good at, more of a craft and something that's fun to do as a hobby with potentional professional rewards down the line...
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and my eyes
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I read a lot of academic authors, not because they're necessarily better than fiction writers, as they're not, its just what I enjoy reading. I recommend anything by Edward Said, Peter Gay, Roland Stromberg, Cornel West and Noam Chomsky among others.

Movies: too many to list but here's a start The Dark Knight, The Lord of the Rings (all three), The Matrix films (all three), Bourne films (all three), Office Space, Dogma, American Pie, Spy Game, American Beauty, The Sultan Sea, Collateral.

Music: U2, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, Filter, Better Than Ezra, Third Eye Blind, Lady Gaga, Rage Against the Machine, Madonna, The Police, Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Nirvana.
The six things I could never do without

2. books
3. my computer
4. friends
5. car
6. contacts
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the state of the world, my friends, what I want to read or write about next, where I want to socalize with my friends, the next trip to Chicago
On a typical Friday night I am
If I'm not working, hanging with friends at a bar or cofee shop, or lounging around at my apartment
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've been keeping a journal since I was a freshman in college
