yup.  its true.  i wrote it.

and let me be clear.  i'm NOT lonely for the following:  men who want a FWB relationship.  men who are thrilled by the idea of a "cougar."  men who think i am vulnerable enough to play a mind game with.  men who are selfish, cowardly, stupid or silly.  men who aren't fully grown.

what i am lonely for, and hungry for, and aching for is a man.  a real, honest, accomplished, polished, smart, serious, interesting, interested man.  someone who can write a complete sentence. someone who is funny but more importantly clever.  someone who's hand quietly covers mine. someone whose coffee cup sits next to mine in the sink.  

im not needy.  im not anxious.  i really do have a great, full life but oh ... i'm lonely for one really great guy.  where in the hell are you?  and will you ever ever find me?

who knew love, smart adult lasting love, could be so elusive?

i've always wanted to learn to play chess and haven't gotten around to it yet. 

i know it's hard to master but is it difficult to learn?

do you like chess?  yes?  no?  why?

perhaps it will be a 2012 goal ....

so as i was leaving the wonderful airconditioned NYC cab, i found a folded $20 bill on the seat!  yay for me!!!

now, what to do!!  save it????   treat myself (at least $20 worth!!))?????  or buy $20 of lottery tickets???????

while i love wine, i think its best served and enjoyed when accompanied by food.  in my estimation, not suitable for pre-dinner imbibing.

love, love, love a martini so i've already covered off on this option.

in the summertime, i like campari and soda with a twist.  i think i'm in the minority here as campari is definitely an acquired taste.

i can appreciate a good cold beer but only in certain situations -- usually after i've skied hard and long all day.

lately i've been going the manhattan route ... i do love a classic.

so what am i missing??  i know there are lots of sophisticates on OKC so please, enlighten me!
