I am witty, entertaining, and honest.
My Self-Summary
I tell it like it is. My friends find me entertaining and
supportive. I have a degree in Biology and work in IT, so there's a
fair amount of
nerd/
geek in me. I'm a lot more socially adept
than the average nerd, but I still make comments and references
that screw with people's heads. I occasionally will talk about
Anatomy lab or decapitating mice (I did epilepsy research, I'm not
a future serial killer). If you're squeamish or just don't like to
hear about how the body works, it's probably not going to work
between us. In good news, if things work out between us, I'm damned
good at fixing computers! I enjoy spending time with friends. I'm
not big into going out to bars and clubs, they make
conversation
difficult. I'd rather have dinner or something where you can just
talk and enjoy each other's company. In general, I avoid the media;
news tends to be sensationalist and depressing, celebrities have
problems like everyone else, and reality TV just bores me. I enjoy
photography,
theatre, cooking,
and
cuddling
up with some popcorn, a
cute guy, and a good
movie.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently a
software developer. I work
mostly in
C#, though
I've been known to use
PHP for personal projects. I also have a
graphic
design and printing resale business, though I really need to
build it up.
I just bought a
condo in December 2008 and am working on
turning it into my home.
I also have a
puppy
named Cocoa. I got her in May from the Animal Protection League and
they guess she was born in October of 2008. She's about 50 pounds,
brindle-colored, and one of the best things that's happened to me
in a long time.
I’m really good at
Figuring out how things work, both literally and metaphorically - I
love taking things apart just to poke around in them. Photography -
mostly digital these days (I have a
Nikon d70), though I'd love to have access to a
darkroom and shoot some
black & white again.
I'm pretty good at most things
computer-related, but after working at
a computer all day I tend to avoid them at home. I can
cook and
bake pretty well and love cooking
dinner with/for someone. I have a powerful mastery of English; so
things like
conjugating verbs, making
puns, and knowing
which
homophone
to use in a given situation.
Innuendo, making people do
double-takes, saying horribly inappropriate things with a straight
face (sometimes).
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not sure I've ever asked anyone. People like my
smile, though I'm horrible at
smiling in photos.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Random
things! My brain tends to wander and think of a million things
at once, so there is no discernible pattern.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either being lame at home alone, at a party, or out doing something
random/crazy with friends. It all depends on the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm not a very private person. We'll go with "I have six
piercings, bonus points
if you can guess them all."
You should message me if
You're charming, witty, and/or a
decent human being. Those
with
common
courtesy (though this has become quite the misnomer) and a
sense of
basic human decency get to
the front of the line, as do the nerdy,
indie,
pierced, educated,
tall, dark, and/or handsome.
