Born and raised in Kamloops (well outside of the loops). So I have a outdoorsy rural side to me. Moved to the island and became a city boy. No more truck, now an environmentally friendly car. I'm very socially, environmentally aware and I am a political junkie. I wish I had more time to do the things I love to do: travel and explore, camping, skiing and maybe watching a little hockey or football....

Beyond that, the basics are: shaved head, blue eyes, stay in shape best I can but don't live in a gym, very ambitious. Oh and I do my very best to "Chive on" at all times......

I'm a municipal safety advisor (just screams of danger and excitment I know). I travel a bit for work - mostly over to Vancouver a few times a month and back east Ottawa 4-5 times a year. My family lives over in the interior so I like to go visit when I can. I have a 1 year old nephew who is as awesome as awesome gets so he always provides motivation for a visit.

I'm very interested in politics and I have an eye to become much more involved.

Debating any issue. I always enjoy fixing things - I wish I had a shop. I'm also pretty clean for a guy (clean was drilled into my head from my days as a volunteer fire fighter).

I'm also one of those people with zero fear of public speaking. whether I'm facilitating to a class of 25 people, or speaking in front of 3,000 I feel pretty comfortable, even a little excited!

Helping others. In my job i help a lot of people understand things like employment standards, workers compensation and the labour code. Often people aren't in a very good place when they speak to me so I do spend a lot of time worrying about helping others, and trying to improve their situation.

I'm not into the bar scene, I much prefer hanging out with a few friends, group dinner, wine, a movie.....that's more my style

I own a pair of lululemon pants.......no, not the stretchy kind. the comfy sweatpant type. oh and I have a cat, long story....
