hello, and welcome to my profile. thank you for visiting :) im marissa. hmmm thinking of something captivating.... well i often say the right thing at the wrong time. im a very shy person and there are definitely two sides of me. one side you wont see until you get to know me. im the type of girl who you could sit and talk to for hours while knocking down a few beers, or the kind of girl you can take out and would do anything to cheer you up! i love animals. i have two cats, two rats, a dog, and a guinea pig. i am a total nerd, i love batman the animated series. i live by myself and i love it! i love having my own space. i wont lie... my relationship status is a little difficult, but i probably wont explain it to you until i get to know you. i've recently found myself wanting to be in a relationship with a female more than a male. all relationships i have had with girls have ended on good terms and i feel we understand each other well, although i have very poor luck getting other females to like me. it's a long story with men and i.... and too painful!

well i've finally set out my life plan and time to put it in motion! i know i want to go to cosmetology school, but at the moment my funds are short. i work in the mall selling body jewelry, and don't hate it. i love meeting all the new interesting people. retail is definitely my niche.

being friendly, even when i don't feel like it. being awkward, but not on purpose. i am pretty good at being myself. i like to listen, i have A LOT of patients. i'm also pretty good at reading people, but usually only if i have met them in person. i never stop trying to figure out how people work, and i wont stop until i have. usually it bothers me more so if i don't like you though(which usually doesn't happen unless you give me a good reason).

well aesthetically.... probably all of my piercings. other than that im pretty average. i'm kind of tall for a girl i guess. i usually have an odd hair color or style. other than that, my loud laugh.

Books:
the virgin suicides, invisible monsters, choke, middlesex, anything out by ross campbell, the good earth, dead witch walking. i don't really have a genre.
Movies:
well that one is tough because i have so many favorite movies and im always discovering more. the fifth element, bram stokers dracula, american beauty, edward scissor hands, shawn of the dead, children of men, ghost in the shell
. anything bloody, gory, and zombified.
Music:
along with movies, there is way too much to put here! i am very eclectic and i cant say there is one genre of music i really like.
alice in chains, the deftones, nick cave, leonard cohen, godsmack, pantera, the beatles, clap your hands and say yeah, death cab for cutie, the postal service, switchblade symphony, the ramones, ben folds, pj harvey, chris issac, blue oyster cult, fear factory, dimmu borgir, bjork, M.I.A., the cure, tv on the radio, american head charge, lacuna coil... just to name a few.
Food:
basically anything, i am NOT picky. i hate picky eaters... especially when its a guy. don't be a bitch! try new things!

i also love video games. lack of funds has kept me from gaming for a while. tomb raider got me hooked as a child, but i've grown to like bigger and better games.

other than that....

the way other people work, my finances, my future. i also do the what if thing a lot. what if this were to happen until i think about unrealistic things happening which make my life spin out of control. lets try positive thinking! ha ha ha

lately either reading, watching a movie, playing a video game i have already played fifty times, or hanging out with my best friend nickie. once in a while i go out, but i haven't found a good crowed to be around in quite a while.

i have had horrible experiences in past relationships that kind of make me weary of anything more than friends. i really don't know what i am in search of on here. mostly friends.
