My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Why hello!

Welcome to my page. As you can see, we've got comfortable chairs here, a fireplace, and some old fashioned cookies. So relax, come on in and have a seat. We can swap tales of our adventures, of the sights we've seen and lessons we've learned and you'll have plenty of time to continue on with your journey once you've rested here for a while. In the meantime, can I offer you some cider?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Funny you should ask for I have a most unusual occupation. But when I'm not at work, I enjoy writing tales, meeting new people and seeing new places. Collecting stories in any form is a passion of mine. I'm equally at home in the woods or in a movie theater, at a stadium or in a library, and most places in between. I especially love airports. How're the cookies?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Entertaining visitors, clearly. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, yes, I do tend to smile a lot. And you're right, I do look much younger than you'd guess. But perhaps you should tell me?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Ah, the paintings on that wall? Those are some of my favorite characters. You might recognize a few, we've got Dr. Alan Grant, Atreyu, Tyler Durdan, The Merovingian, Edward Nygma, Malificent, and Agent Dale Cooper. There are more behind you.

That music you're hearing? Could be anything from Benny Goodman to Mumford and Sons to Devotchka to Erasure or something in between, hard to say.

Yes, that is the Lemony Snicket series. Good eye.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
These 6 items on this desk? Ah, well we've got a pen and paper, that counts as one. The photo of my brother. That's my passport over there. The other three items have longer stories behind them I'm afraid: the deck of playing cards, the compass, and the matchbox. Perhaps if you're here again on another journey you can hear those tales.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Ah, if the night were endless and the cider bottomless, then you'd hear my thoughts on all matter of subjects. Why was that show successful, why did that joke fail, how can we edit this or that to make a better impact, what fears can we unpack and how can we understand even more. You might also hear me sing 'This is the Tale, of Captain Jack Sparrow....'
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
This in fact is a typical Friday night, right here. We swap tales and enjoy each other's company, perhaps we play some games of chance or strategy, and we prepare for tomorrow's adventure. More cider?

Well I do hope you've enjoyed your stay here. Next time we'll need to do some more quoting of good movies, sitting around the campfire, and laughing at clever banter, but perhaps not in that order. There are also creative projects to undertake and trails left unexplored. Come back again if you enjoyed the cookies!
