My Self-Summary
I'm a poet and have partial custody of my twelve-year-old son Ezra.
I own a home in North Oakland and make my living teaching creative
writing. I love backpacking, playing basketball and table tennis,
collecting minerals, dancing and going to poetry readings. I need

My favorite books include Leonard Cohen, Hafez, Rumi, Shakespeare,
Greek Lyrics. I'm watching "Rear Window" with my son, and "X-Men
II" is one of our all-time favorites. Mine are "Breaking Away" and
"Woman of the Dunes." Music! Bluegrass, Rock, and Classical,
especially Medieval.
