My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What am I passionate about? Well life really! In summary – music (I have eclectic taste), reading, my friends, family, modern dance, theatre, yoga, socialising, travelling, sunshine, the beach, Brighton, fashion, modern art, painting, cooking, dining out, good wine, cocktails, comedy, laughing, the human brain, the May festival, languages, intelligent conversation, different cultures, beards (there is a great competition/festival every year in Brighton!) good HBO drama, tennis, rugby, cats, curry, self awareness and development, the smell of frangipanis and the list goes on........

I have lived across the globe as a child and am now happy to be settled in quirky Brighton.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I was an employment lawyer working in the City until a few years ago when I was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease SLE /Lupus, I am managing it now though needing plenty of rest ( but no help). I have recently studied psychotherapy which I use in my capacity as a member on various medical boards for the NHS and Medical School. I have a much more balanced life now :-)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being with people, I like people and my friends and loved ones are extremely important to me. I'm pretty good at sorting out an argument and negotiating peace:-) I love cooking, though cooking for one is not much fun. I have in the recent past dabbled at chucking paints on a canvas and that was fun. I'm a good listener. I like to think I'm a loyal friend. I'm not so bad at languages either.
The first things people usually notice about me

This is a tough one. I LOVE my books there are simply too many to choose from. Donna Tart's Secret History was spectacular as was Barbara Kingsolver's Poisonwood Bible, I have also read most of Haruki Murakami's books which was a great discovery in my life. I love Lionel Shriver and have read many of her quite controversial novels, currently reading Big Brother. Any Wes Anderson movie will do it for me especially his latest Moonrise Kingdom - it was spectacular - a real coming of age gem. I recently saw The Way Way Back - better than the Descendants and on a par with Little Miss Sunshine. I love Almovodar and Scandi/art house/indi films most block busters don't do it for me (80's classics excluded!). As for shows I like satirical plays and comedy with a bit of modern dance chucked in and as for music well I have very eclectic taste. Recent buys have been Daughter, Alela Diane, The Staves, Vampire Weekend, Richard Hawley, The Beach House, Chairlift and Alt j, Valerie June, John Grant - his lyrics are incredible - but I truly like the whole gambit am a 6 radio listener with a bit of radio 4 in the mix.Recent gigs have been John Grant and Band of Skulls, Richard Hawley, I am Kloot and Sinead O'Connor at Ramsbottom Music Festival! As for food, Asian is my favourite whether that be curry, noodles, sushi, sashimi I love the spice. I also love italian and french. As mentioned before I love any good HBO drama was hooked on the Wire which was almost like a Greek tragedy and Shakespeare rolled into one. I like a bit of comedy too.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
now there's a thought - did you know we have over 300 thoughts a minute!! I try my hardest to suppress these thoughts at times they can drive me nuts but then I try and chill out and let them float on by!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
with my friends either out at the pub or round someone's house for dinner, catching a movie or seeing some dance/play/gig.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

If my profile has struck a chord with you and you are someone who has that element of self awareness about you, who is compassionate to others but also has the knowledge to have self compassion. You need to be a good listener and equally like talking - hopefully you'll have a good sense of fun too - I like to laugh:-)
