My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Born in China, raised in the Midwest, and a Seattle transplant. I'm a food lover, beer brewer, marathon runner, Sci-Fi geek, and NPR/PBS junkie. Looking to find someone to share the great outdoors and enjoy a pint or two after.

I love the outdoors and enjoy going hiking, running, snowboarding, and camping.

I'm really passionate about all things food/beer related. Given the opportunity, I'll talk your ear off about it!

I've got a snarky sense of humor but am serious when I need be. So if you're the type of girl who doesn't get easily offended and might even throw a few crude jokes in yourself, consider me smitten!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently work as an engineer and really enjoy the challenge/reward of solving some pretty complicated problems.

Food has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I can remember fond memories of helping my mom out in the kitchen when I was little and getting that sense of accomplishment from making something delicious and comforting. Now, I unwind from a stressful day at work my putting on some music, cracking open a bottle of beer and making something delicious in the kitchen.

I'm really into running and love doing the hills around the Seattle area. I've got a few half marathons under my belt and just finished my first ultra last October! A friend talked me into training for a triathlon this summer so now I'm learning how to actually swim rather than thrashing around like drenched cat in the water :-)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a huge foodie and love to cook, drink, and eat! From brewing my own beer and cider to cooking a mean pot of chili, something's always going on in the kitchen. Some of the more outrageous creations I've tried are making a turducken for Thanksgiving and now making my own prosciutto, bacon and lox.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My outgoing attitude. Maybe it's the Midwestern friendliness or the fact that I find almost anything interesting but I really enjoy talking to people and engaging their interests. It's surprising to see how people open when talking about the things they're passionate about.
