I am inquisitive, visionary, and smokey.

My Self-Summary

I have only one dimple. Throughout my life I have been saved by this one-dimpled smile. My third grade teacher said that it exploded into my eyes. I grew up primarily in Floyd Virginia, a one stoplight town with more cows than people. I enjoy the beautiful things in life. I don't mean the stereotypical, magazine-cutout beauty but, fabulous beauty- like when everything is tinted orange with the sunset, or the contrast of freshly brewed coffee in a white diner cup, and the way blue cigarette smoke dangles in the air and gets carried away with the breeze.

{Also important is to know that Amanda is a Chaos Elemental. This is not role playing shite, it's real. She is truly entropic. So much so that the universe rewards her contributions. Whether you're talking emotions, situations, relationships, lingustics, gaming or sheer chance in any form, she contributes such a great degree of the unordered, truely random events of life, that all of creation responds in reward, and she will always win in moments of pure chance or randomness. Seriously, be prepared for amazing, mind-bending events (should she choose to interact with you). It may or may never happen, but prepare yourselves none the less. If it happens and you're unprepared, don't say you weren't warned/ }

What I’m doing with my life

being a bum

Anything i want, within reasonable boundaries of course. Damn you sanity, why must you plague me? 1) Working 1.5) Considering finishing up my Psych BA and seeing where I want to go from there. 2) Developing textual/graphical representations. (less textual more graphical lately-I'm getting extremely comfortable with oil painting. Less time devoted to both than I'd like... given need to eat. 3) making verbal circles into nonsensical, meandering, never ending structures. 4) engaging in good conversations.

I’m really good at

procrastination. art stuff. being belligerent. layering 25 cent slips and calling it an outfit. being a mixed-up muse, leaving the lid off of anything that requires a lid. head massages. Caring for my two beloved Guinea pigs, "The" Little and City. Intuitive Leaps. Googling.

The first things people usually notice about me

{Her distinct sense of self. While never directly administered, Mandy exhibits an incredible amount of personality which overwhelms even her stunning physical appearance.}

I smoke like a chimney.

Most of belongings are not without stains from a: coffee b: paint c: something unknown or perhaps unmentionable. "Yes there is a Hole in my sweater, yes I know this, yes, that is possibly a stain from my breakfast." I am constantly adjusting lighting. I have an aversion to fluorescent lights because well..lighting is key.
hip hop skip.

vicariance says "The first thing people notice is her eyes. They are large, gorgeous jewels, that ask you to become lost in them."

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Too many things at once. I can figure out the meaning of cryptic messages hidden in Saturday morning cartoons but, not whether i want...

..."paper or plastic?"

how indecisive I am. & what I want to be when I grow up. Brains & neurochemical reactions. Why humans might be motivated to do the absurd things they do. I often look around me and am both amused and flabbergasted at the things we as a species consider "normal."

On a typical Friday night I am

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

not really all that private: My pet pig's tusk sliced through my septum in third grade and I had to get reconstructive surgery.

I'm a sponge.

You should message me if

**FYI It seems I'm very delayed when responding to people that have messaged me. If I find you interesting you may receive a message in response, even if it's months from now. Be patient, or message me again--perhaps you will catch me at the right moment**

If you tiptoe on the *edge*of "insanity". Take pleasure in those whose attention span waxes and wanes on a day to day basis,(but continually search for "the essence of the thing")..

You love, recognize and are fascinated by absurdity of the human animal.

Don't if - you are a) offended by or intolerant of quirks or b)cannot see the fascination in a childlike awe/charm. Brains are good brains!!! ...are yummy.
