I love life and want to live it to the fullest. I consider myself to be evolving everyday and I am happy with who I am right now. Although I take life seriously, I don't want to miss out on the fun things that life has to offer.

At the moment, I am doing a Ph.D. at a grad school in Berkeley (not UCB) in the field of Ethics. As you can understand by noticing my field of interest, I am concerned about the world and the way things are going on, and my desire is to do my part in making this world a better place to live.

Favorite books: Sons and Lovers, God of Small Things, Gitanjali...

Shows: The Cosby Show, Mad Men (I rarely watch TV...These are the only two shows that I have watched and I have liked them).

Movies: I occasionally watch Bollywood movies, but they are not my favorites. I like movies from other cultures as they seem to present life at a more subtle and deeper level. Lives of Others is one such movie that I liked.

Music: Eclectic. I listen to all kinds of music but mostly it is some kind of Indian music.

Food: I love Biryani - an Indian delicacy, but I eat almost everything without complaining.

Family; Faith (I consider myself to be a progressive Christian); Friends; Music; Guitar; and Coffee.
