Im trying to change gears and appreciate the simple things in life. Until recently, I was caught up in what I should be doing, and where I should be at this point in my life. I've decided to let that go, and just enjoy the present. I want to travel and see more of the world.

I have a black lab and try to get to the dog park most days during my lunch break- if you like dogs or have one of your own, awesome! I'm close with my family and like to head down to Jersey every few months to see them.

I like to cook and I'm really looking forward to some warmer weather. My goal is to become more creative with the grill.

I'm pretty a easy-going, go with the flow kind of person and can get along with almost anyone. I'm kind of quiet at first

I'm not a huge fan of watching sports on tv except football or unless it's the championship/game 7/that kind of thing. That said, I'm always down to actually go to any kind of game. Being at Fenway or the garden is always a good time. I've never been to a Bruins game. Maybe this season?

Currently working for a food safety consulting firm- I work from home, which definitely has its ups and downs, but its an interesting job for now.

I like to be outside and would love to find some cool places to hike or just explore more of Boston. I try to bring my dog along as much as I can.

I volunteer at an animal shelter.

Maybe I'll learn to sail THIS summer. That didn't pan out last year and I bought a kayak instead. It may have been somewhat of an impulse-buy, seeing as its sitting under a tarp in my backyard, hopefully not too damaged from the winter, and a few pounds too heavy for me to lift by myself. Oops.

I'm pretty good at cooking, spelling, people watching, planning surprises, buying gifts, bring spontaneous, and procrastinating.

I'm getting more and more into skiing. I went to Italy earlier this year. That was a super fun experience and I would like to make a week-long European ski trip an annual thing.

I really neEd to read more and get to the movies more... I tend to like comedies and dramas, hate scary movies (I close my eyes and plug my ears even during previews...wimp, I know...meh

I like Japanese, good Chinese, Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican. I'm trying to expand my palate and try new things-Peruvian, Cuban and Indian are on my list.

Usually takeout and wine/out to dinner with friends, or calling it an early night in anticipation for a fun Saturday....depends on the week.
