My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My friends call me Shelly. I'm probably the most sarcastic person you will ever meet in your life. I work as an EMT for the greater New Orleans area and will be a paramedic student beginning this fall. I learn a lot more things about myself through what others think of me than I do through simply analyzing my own actions and thoughts.

I play five instruments and I sing, but I'm awfully shy about it. I danced for twelve years of my life, I rode horses (not competitively) for five, and I cheered during high school. I wored as a lifeguard and spent like 80% of my free time swimming. Now I'm just doing what I can to enjoy the time left I have as a "kid" before the real world comes and hits me in the face. (I have my own place and pay my own bills - am I an adult yet?)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as an EMT, eventually starting studies to become a paramedic!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being awkward. Also I'm actually really good with kids and can't wait to have some of my own. (I mean I CAN wait, but you know what I mean.) Oh also, I'm really good at just general knowledge and trivia.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sarcasm, which never misses a beat. But I know how to use it appropriately, so don't panic. The first physical thing anyone usually notices about me is my ass. Awkward.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Mean Girls will forever remain the most quotable movie ever. I'm always up for a chick flick, but nothing more of a tear-jerker than The Notebook. I've never seen Titanic. Quite often, you can find me watching The Vampire Diaries, Family Guy, or Tosh.0.

I love Paramore, Demi Lovato (I'm a kid at heart, sue me), Lil Wayne, Sleeping with Sirens, Ron Pope, Mumford & Sons, and a few others. My music taste is literally all over the map. I'm also a fan of country music but I'm not an undying fan of any specific artists.

I enjoy reading books that will keep me engaged. Reading is my absolute passion. My favorite book, currently, is probably a tie between The Fault in our Stars and Looking for Alaska by John Green. Both very quotable books, both very worthy of your eyes. John Green is a genius and I would like one day just to have coffee and chat with him over nothing.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My iTunes library, my MacBook, my iphone, the Philadelphia flyers, my friends, and my family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
...scenarios that will most likely never happen. Also how things work.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...working, doing homework, or out with friends/a special someone!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Spongebob is my favorite show.

You think we'd be able to have an actual conversation, and you'd actually consider getting to know me really well. And also if you'd actually consider going on a date or two, because I'm actually looking for someone to hang out with. I don't really enjoy when people just message me saying "hey ur pretty, u single?" Because what am I supposed to say to that? Ask me questions. Get to know me. I want somebody I can have conversations with (:
