I'm probably the most sarcastic person you will ever meet in your
life. I work as an EMT for the greater New Orleans area and am
currently a paramedic student. Brace yourself - the only cool thing
about my life right now is work, so if you don't want to hear about
what it's like being stuck in an ambulance for 12 hours, kindly
move along. I learn a lot more things about myself through what
others think of me than I do through simply analyzing my own
actions and thoughts.
I play five instruments and I sing, but I'm awfully shy about it. I
danced for twelve years of my life, I rode horses (not
competitively) for five, and I cheered during high school. I wored
as a lifeguard and spent like 80% of my free time swimming. Now I'm
just doing what I can to enjoy the time left I have as a "kid"
before the real world comes and hits me in the face. (I have my own
place and pay my own bills - am I an adult yet?)
What I’m doing with my life
Working as an EMT, currently in school for paramedic. Eventually
I'll either stay a paramedic, go to nursing school, or go to med
school for emergency medicine. Whatever happens happens, I suppose!
I’m really good at
Being awkward. Also I'm actually really good with kids and can't
wait to have some of my own. (I mean I CAN wait, but you know what
I mean.) Oh also, I'm really good at just general knowledge and
The first things people usually notice about me
My sarcasm, which never misses a beat. But I know how to use it
appropriately, so don't panic. The first physical thing
anyone usually notices about me is my ass. Awkward.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Mean Girls will forever remain the most quotable movie ever. I'm
always up for a chick flick, but nothing more of a tear-jerker than
The Notebook. I've never seen Titanic. Quite often, you can find me
watching The Vampire Diaries, Family Guy, or Tosh.0.
My music taste is literally all over the map. I listen to
everything. One day I'll listen to the entire Mozart's Requiem
performance and the next day I'll be listening to The Carter IV. It
depends on my mood, I suppose.
I enjoy reading books that will keep me engaged. I like to read at
work, because I work the night shift and I can't stand my partner,
so it keeps her from talking to me. In the past week I've read
through two complete books. I like engaging stories, stories about
love and loss and adventure. I like smart books, well-written
narratives. If you suggest a book to me, I'll likely read it.
The six things I could never do without
My iTunes library, my MacBook, my iphone, the Philadelphia flyers,
my friends, and my family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...scenarios that will most likely never happen. Also how things
On a typical Friday night I am
Well, every other Friday night I'm working. On my off fridays I'm
either in bed, picking up a shift, or going out with my friends to
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If Spongebob is on, I WILL watch it.
You should message me if
You think we'd be able to have an actual conversation, and you'd
actually consider getting to know me really well. And also if you'd
actually consider going on a date or two, because I'm actually
looking for someone to hang out with. I don't really enjoy when
people just message me saying "hey ur pretty, u single?" Because
what am I supposed to say to that? Ask me questions. Get to know
me. I want somebody I can have conversations with (:
