I am kind, empathetic, and fun loving.
My Self-Summary
I am open minded, laid back, friendly, and like to go with the
flow. Fortunately my life is undramatic, but not boring. I am
funny, but my sense of humor generally only emerges around the
right people. I tend to surround myself with genuine and thoughtful
individuals. Friends and family are really important to me. I
believe in realness, honesty, and treating people the way I like to
be treated, kindly. I am independent, comfortable in my own skin,
and always true to myself. You should be too. I am in love with San
Francisco and all its quirks. Recently I acquired a bike and after
spending the last year walking almost everywhere, I am learning my
way around all over again, this time on wheels. I biked around with
critical mass for the first time recently and it was so amazing! In
the summer I prefer hiking, camping, going to the beach, and cold
refreshments in the park. In the winter, I like hunkering down with
a good book, drinking tea, skiing, staying warm. In the city, I
enjoy hanging out in Golden Gate Park, perusing the shelves at
Green Apple Books, swinging by the DeYoung, grabbing a beer at the
Bean Bag, having breakfast at Tartine, going for walks at Ocean
Beach, and meeting new people (that's where you come in). I love
that there is always something going on and am up for pretty much
anything.
What I’m doing with my life
After college in Boulder, a year in New Zealand, going home to
Massachusetts for nursing school, and a year in Santa Cruz, I am
happy to have settled in San Francisco for the meantime. I work
part time at Planned Parenthood. Working at the clinic is great
because there is so much emphasis on education and illness
prevention. I also work with awesome people and get to meet
patients from all around the world, which makes things much more
interesting. I don't like my job because I meet a lot of women (and
some men) who are stuck between a rock and a hard place, and
sometimes I feel sad at the end of the day. However, I have many
more good days than bad, and I like going to work in the morning.
I’m really good at
hanging out, getting along, not flaking out

I spend a lot of time thinking about
boys, my patients, the news, food, how fortunate I am.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, sharing a meal, listening to music, watching a
movie...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I got stood up last week. Seriously, I thought that only happened
in the movies!
You should message me if
you think we would get along, you are looking for a reliable
friend, you want to go on a date with a sweet girl, you have a
decent sense of humor and a good disposition, or you just want to
say hello. I don't really like the idea of defining the type of
person I want to date or befriend. While sharing some interests and
having a similar outlook on life are generally good things, having
differences can make a relationship more interesting too.
