My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in NYC, went to high school in GA, moved up to Boston for college and never went home. I love Boston. I still find new things I didn't know about the city, and I've lived here 10+ years.

I have a three-year-old dog named Leeloo and a lovebird named Buttercup.

I took up running a couple of years ago and have since completed a handful of 5ks and my first 10k. I'm doing my first half-marathon in November.

I like yoga, running, karaoke, trivia nights, live music, reading as many books as possible, the Bruins, video games, hiking, bowling, hammocks, grilled cheese, air hockey, naps, and cooking.

I just joined a fantasy hockey league for the first time. I picked mostly Bruins and former Bruins. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it wrong.

I'm also back in my Sunday bowling league, which is pretty great.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as a Web Manager at an awesome video game company. I love my job and the games we make. I spend a lot of my day juggling schedules and planning content.

In my free time, I'm hanging out with my dog, training for a half marathon, reading as many books as I can (metaphorically) juggle at one time, and spending time with friends. I try to get to NY and GA to visit family as often as possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Baking and cooking. Remembering a whole bunch of drink orders (3+ years working at Starbucks during college has its perks). Making mix playlists in Spotify. Doing '90s rap songs or early '00s rock songs at karaoke.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile? I smile a lot. Like, A LOT a lot.

I love reading and will read almost anything. For genres, I lean towards biographies/autobiographies, thrillers, horror, mysteries, post-apocalyptic and/or zombie stories, classics, and non-fiction.

The Wizard of Oz, Dodgeball, A League of Their Own, The Fifth Element, The Princess Bride, Clueless, Elf, E.T., the Die Hard series, The Sandlot, The Avengers, Wayne's World, Terminator 2

The Walking Dead, The Talking Dead, Rizzoli & Isles, MythBusters, Law & Order: SVU, ER, Lost, How I Met Your Mother, and Veronica Mars.

Some of my favorites are Butch Walker, Marvelous 3, Fall Out Boy, New Found Glory, Volbeat, Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Eat World, Pink, Foo Fighters, '80s hair metal (Motley Crue, Skid Row, etc.), and late '90s/'00s pop rock (Stroke 9, American Hi Fi, etc.). I'm currently really into the Iggy Azalea album.

I love trying new foods and new recipes. I collect cookbooks. My favorite foods of all time are mac & cheese, creme brulee, and hot chocolate (not all at once...that would be gross). I strongly believe every food is made better by adding cheese.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Obviously, water, food, family, and shelter are covered, right?

1. My dog, Leeloo
2. Spotify
3. Books
4. Naps
5. Hot chocolate
6. Dry socks
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Getting an RV and going on a cross-country roadtrip with my dog. (Apparently some guy just did this and wrote a book about it, so now I'm going to read the book and live vicariously through him.)

Seriously, how would I survive in the zombie apocalypse?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There's a fifty-fifty chance I'm on the couch asleep after a long week. Otherwise I'm out with friends somewhere fun and probably loud.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hate this question so much. People take it way too seriously. And then I feel like a jackass for writing something silly.
