My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in NYC, went to high school in GA, moved up to Boston for college and never went home.

I love dogs. I have a four-year-old dog named Leeloo. I get easily distracted by dogs in public. Fair warning: I will stop mid-conversation to pet a puppy.

I also like reading, karaoke, running, live music, the Bruins, video games, bowling, road trips, hammocks, grilled cheese, air hockey, skee ball, naps, and cooking.

I work at a video game company, scheduling podcasts and livestreams and other content.

Sometimes I host karaoke. It's kind of a recent thing. I love it so far.

The little dude in my pictures is my nephew. I'm a proud aunt to that little guy and a six-year-old girl.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as a Web Manager at an awesome video game company.

In my free time, I'm hanging out with my dog, training for The Infinity Gauntlet (back-to-back days of a Captain America-themed 10k followed by The Avengers-themed half marathon), reading as many books as I can (metaphorically) juggle at one time, sometimes hosting karaoke, and spending time with family and friends.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Falling asleep anywhere, anytime. Seriously... planes, couches, the floor, wherever. I am a napping professional.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile? I smile a lot. Like, A LOT a lot. I have whatever the opposite of resting bitchface is.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books:
I love reading and will read almost anything. For genres, I lean towards thrillers, horror, mysteries, post-apocalyptic and/or zombie stories, classics, and non-fiction.

Movies:
The Wizard of Oz, Dodgeball, A League of Their Own, The Fifth Element, The Princess Bride, Clueless, Elf, E.T., the Die Hard series, The Sandlot, The Avengers, Wayne's World, Terminator 2, Don't Tell Mom The Baby-Sitter's Dead.

TV:
Some of my favorites are The Walking Dead, Rizzoli & Isles, MythBusters, and Law & Order: SVU. ER, Veronica Mars, and LOST are some of my off-the-air favorites.

Music:
Some of my favorites are Butch Walker, Marvelous 3, New Found Glory, Volbeat, Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Eat World, Pink, Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, Kiesza, Halestorm, Tove Lo, '80s hair metal (Motley Crue, Skid Row, etc.), emo nostalgia (Bayside, Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, etc.) and late '90s/'00s pop rock (Stroke 9, American Hi Fi, etc.). When I have a really bad day, I listen to Pantera as loudly as possible.

Podcasts:
Nerdist, Stuff You Should Know, Ice T's Final Level, Not A Real Job, Serial

Food:
I collect cookbooks. My favorite foods of all time are mac & cheese, creme brulee, and hot chocolate (not all at once...that would be gross).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Obviously, water, food, family, and shelter are covered, right?

1. My dog, Leeloo
2. Spotify
3. Books
4. Naps
5. Hot chocolate
6. Dry socks
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Puppies
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Could be asleep on the couch. Could be hanging out with friends somewhere.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't believe in guilty pleasures. Like what you like. Own it. Don't be ashamed.

On that note, I've listened to Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" at least five times today.
