I'm a night owl. I like to eat at 24-hour food joints in the wee hours of the morning, because LA is way better at 3am than 3pm.

I'm in grad school making interactive media. What that actually means is that I'm making a video game to teach Chemistry.

I've got a lot of random hobbies, from Krav Maga to root beer snobbery. I like to talk about religion, though I'm both a believer and a skeptic. I like to let my mind wander around the weighty topics like corporate responsibility and the Panopticon (Bonus points if you can find a way to bridge the two). I'm also a bit of a Marxist, so, er, buyer beware.

I make video games to try to fix the world. No, I'm actually serious. Political statements, interactive education, pretty cool stuff.

Fiction: I just read The Reader, that's a book that stays with you. World War Z, Dune, and The Namesake are also favorites.

Non-Fiction:Self-Made Man (a woman pretends to be a man for a year and writes about it),

Children of Men may be my favorite movie right now, and for TV, it's definitely The Wire. Since that's now over, I'm watching The Walking Dead.
