Heathers. In the Mood For Love. I do think Hollywood is f-ed up and
that movies these days are generally not great. But I still enjoy
wading through the dross.
TV - I watch all of the shows that everyone else is watching. Ain't
the internet great? Louis CK is the best. I have a feeling that
Lena Dunham could save Hollywood if she ever writes something that
isn't about herself.
Music- 6 music is usually on at work, very rarely I'll hear
something new I like. Like that really bitter but upbeat John Grant
one ('etch-a-sketch your way out of this one reject') I also like
that white denim one where they pretend the last 50 years of music
Mostly electronic music, 90s music, and my dad's record collection.
Cream, dusty Springfield, fleetwood mac, sly stone. Blur, Pulp,
early suede, elastica, kenickie. (yes i still listen to kenickie)
wu tang, dre/snoop. PJ Harvey. Four tet, squire of gothos, ceephax
acid crew, modeselektor. Jungle, old school hardcore, some techno,
juke/footwork/booty bass. Acid acid acid acid. Loads of 90s and 00s
rnb - destiny's child, JT, mary j, soft spot for Mariah. Really
like a lot of Malian music, bassekou kouyate etc. afrobeat.
love food markets, new restaurants. All sorts. I don't mind
spending too much money on good food.
Theatre - Best/most interesting I saw recently was Orpheus by The
Little Bulb theatre company. Joyous stuff.
