My self-summary
"It is not about the destination, but about the journey"

Self-summaries are tricky. It is hard to come across sincere.

I am often compared to Leonard from The Big Bang Theory...which I am totally fine with.

I am an ISFP on the meyer briggs. That describes me pretty well.

I considered myself extremely honest, kind, and open.
What I’m doing with my life
I am in my senior year at The Evergreen State College. I intern at a literacy center in Shelton, and I work as a delivery expert at Domino's.
I’m really good at
Recently, I have noticed I have a knack for reading people, which seems to come in handy when you first meet someone. I also think I am really good at being patient. Recently someone told me that I was really good at explaining things to kids.

I like to think I play the guitar halfway decently as well as sing.
The first things people usually notice about me
Honestly, I am not quite sure. Maybe my glasses or my ever changing facial hair. People always tell me I look really familiar. I am not sure why that is but I have been called everything from Wesley to Steven. This has been happening more and more lately and I have no idea why that is. People quickly notice that I am really open and easy to talk to. Many people often open up to me simply because I am a good listener, which I think I get from my dad because he is a psychologist.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My all time favorite book has got to be Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I have been reading a lot for school and really enjoy reading about social change. There are far too many movies I love for me to pick a favorite. Some of my favorites include Amelie, Thank You For Smoking, Slumdog Millionaire, Napoleon Dynamite, City of God, Inside Man, and Little Manhattan. My favorite type of food has got to be Indian. I also love sushi, but who doesn't.

Some more:

Books: Ender's Game, Catch-22, For Whites Only, The Things They Carried, The Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, The Art of Racing in the Rain, THe Curious Incident of The Dog at Nighttime.

TV Shows: Dr. Who, Sherlock, Burn Notice, Law and Order, Bob's Burgers, Derek, The Simpsons, Aquateen Hunger Force, Robot Chicken, The IT Crowd, Trailor Park Boys, Parks and Recreation, Seinfeld, Extras, Arrested Development, Orange is the New Black, Archer, Lost.

Music: orginal, rock genre, electronica, underground hip-hop, old school rap, as far as bands go, Guster, Jack Johnson, The Beta Band, Weezer, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Josh Joplin Group, Dispatch, The Shins, Blur, Nickel Creek, Old Crow Medicine Show, Death Cap for Cutie, Ben Harper, Biznautics, The Beatles, Blackalicious, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Beck, Bob Dylan, Daft Punk, The Grateful Dead, Phish, Great Big Sea, Green Day, Indigo Girls, Simon and Garfunkel, Presidents of The United States of America, Postal Service, Tom Petty, The Head and The Heart, The National, Macklamore and Ryan Lewis, Soul Coughing, Gorillaz, Matisyahu, the Decembrists, Brandi Carlile, just to name a few.

If you couldn't tell, I am a huge music buff. I love listening to it as well as creating it.
The six things I could never do without
My computer/internet, my family, my friends, music, my guitar, and my dreams.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Social structures in our society. How to travel on a budget.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I am not hanging with friends at a bar or a party, I am playing Magic at a local card shop.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
On a picnic, I have to eat each item of food one at a time.
I pretty much will admit anything, I am an extremely honest person (sometimes a little too honest), but at times tact gets in the way. I try to be tactful about my honesty.

I also fear being "that guy." While I identify as a cys straight male, I sometimes hate being lumped in with many other cys straight males, but totally understand my privilege as such.

Or if you were one of the few people who watched the awesome TV show Sons and Daughters.
