Being financially independent and secure is very important to me. I'm a hedonist at heart who likes to have fun. If I had any spiritual beliefs, generosity towards friends would probably be a central practice.
I appreciate anyone who has an open, inquisitive, or compassionate mind. I'm partnered with aflashinhereye, but we tend to date pretty independently of one another. She's currently living with her bf in another state and I came to Austin to find us all a place to live.
I've moved back to the states after spending 2 years on a tiny island in the Caribbean. Hopefully I can make Austin a long term home. Priorities include, in no particular order:
1.) Find a good rock climbing gym
2.) B̶e̶c̶o̶m̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶m̶e̶m̶b̶e̶r̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶o̶c̶a̶l̶ ̶b̶o̶a̶r̶d̶ ̶g̶a̶m̶e̶ ̶s̶t̶o̶r̶e̶ (check)
2.5) Design and publish my own board game
3.) Get my pilot's license (finally!)
4.) Get that tattoo I've always been thinking about?
5.) Find cool people to hang out with
6.) Kayaking on the Colorado River
7.) Figure out who I'm supposed to vote for in this crazy presidential election
One of my secret guilty pleasures is the feeling you get when serving up a really good meal to your friends. I'd like to have a super stocked fridge someday and the ability to cook up nearly anything on a whim.
I build gaming PC's and collect board games for fun. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a nerd like that. Bars are fine, but I'd rather have friends over for a house party or LAN party.
