My self-summary
I am a type eNFp. How about yourself?

I love to experience and explore the world around me and to share those experiences with the people in my life. I like to read and always have something new that I'm learning about. I love jigsaw puzzles and board games. I also enjoy the natural world, hiking, going to the mountains or the ocean. I enjoy learning about history and visiting historic sites and museums. I love to try new foods and I also enjoy cooking. I love hockey. I play recreationally. I moved to Georgia to pursue an education in Art, at SCAD, and then after earning a BFA, I moved to Atlanta to build my life here.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a technical artist. I studied Film and Digital Media at the Savannah College of Art and Design, SCAD. Go Bees! I enjoy web design, interactive design, photography, cinematography, digital compositing, and programming. Yet, I find it difficult to settle for any one creative medium, so I love to work with whatever I get my hands on, be it design, sculpture, painting, writing, or anything else that inspires me. In addition to my creative side, I like to travel to see historic sites, national parks and amazing places. I love to read, learn new things... and I enjoy following current events. But the most important thing that I will do in my life, I believe, a family will be the most important thing I will dedicate my life to, once I marry a special woman.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love Shakespeare. Othello may be my favorite now but I used to say Merchant of Venice. Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH is my favorite children's book. I like Nutrition and Physical Degeneration by Dr. Weston A. Price and Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes. I also enjoy books on psychology, film, video, web design, and programming. I have an eclectic bookshelf.

I have a lot of favorite movies. Terminator 2 was a great inspiration to me. Others favorites include... Avatar, The Departed, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Children of Men, Enter The Void, The Lives of Others, Ratatouille, Braveheart, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, The Usual Suspects, Aliens, 12 Angry Men, D.O.A. (1950)... and many more.

I have studied the cello and the viola in the past, and would like to start playing again.

I enjoy listening to a lot of different music. Great Big Sea, Stabbing Westward, Natalie Macmaster, Lindsey Stirling, Enya, Basshunter, Scooter, Groove Coverage, Real McCoy, Metric, Placebo, Radiohead, Pink, Inna, Serebro, Tatu, Slipknot, Seether, Nothingface, Absurd Minds, Tool, Eminem, David Lee Murphy, James Horner, Shakira and there are so many more.

I really love food, and experiencing new dishes from the world's cultures. I enjoy cooking, practicing in the kitchen to see what I can come up with. Sometimes I will cook for friends... something I am trying to do more often. I've been reading a lot about traditional ingredients and methods of preparation. I'm against Genetically Modified Foods. I try to avoid processed foods, and I am an advocate for traditionally farmed or wild foods.
The six things I could never do without
- Family/Friends
- Access to information/knowledge/culture
- Exercising my creativity
- Freedom to travel
- Trust in God
- Truth and Reason
I spend a lot of time thinking about
In general, I am a passionate person. I seek to understand complex opinions and ideals, while grounded on a foundation of reason. It has always been important to me to question the things around me and form my own beliefs about them so that I could share my ideas with others. I consider myself very tolerant of others' differences and interpretations of the world around them. In fact, I respect a well thought out opinion when it differs from my own more-so than a person who blindly follows what is expected of them. By open discussion with those who respect truth above all else, I find that my life is enriched. I think about the complexities of society, the processes of the human body, and challenge myself to imagine solutions to the problems I find. I care about current events, science, nature, God, life, and I don't avoid discussing those topics. I believe a free and open discussion that seeks mutual understanding and truth is vital to achieving compromise and resolution to any conflict. It is personally important to me to explore and learn about the life and world around us.
On a typical Friday night I am
On a typical Friday night I am cooking something tasty, doing some Spanish lessons on the computer, reading, watching a lecture, or talking on the phone. Otherwise, I'll be working on my website, editing video, or traveling somewhere to visit historic sites or national parks for the weekend, spending time with friends or possibly playing hockey or watching a game.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I feel that we're on the same page, I love to receive long emails and I tend to write very long emails in response. Unfortunately, I am sometimes the worst person in the world when it comes to finding time to sit down and write. I generally feel bad about this.

Some females have reacted poorly when I haven't written an immediate reply to them; it's no wonder they are still single. I am not sorry that my world does not revolve around okcupid. I am definitely not trying to impress anyone. If you require a male to try to impress you in order to feel confident about yourself, please click on the next profile.
When I write a message on okcupid, I put an effort into writing it. I don't copy and paste the same message to 10 females per day, hoping for someone to respond. If you feel the need to act coy because you question if my interest in getting to know you is genuine... you have me mistaken for someone else. Please click next profile.
I hate it when people write these kinds of things in their profiles, but sometimes, for some people, it needs to be said.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–31
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single

You should message me if
You should message me if you imagine we could fall deeply in love with eachother, spend our lives together, to dream together and share many exciting adventures, challenge eachother and inspire eachother to grow to our full potential in life. I believe in true love.

You should message me if you rated me 5 stars! Thank you!

You should also message me if you took the time to read my profile, that's really awesome, I hope you enjoyed reading it. I get a lot of profile views and I'm not sure if I should write you first... because if you didn't write me, you probably didn't like my profile. Or am I wrong?

You should especially message me if you are interested in anything you have read about me, have any common interests or just want to hang out and chat. I am a very open person and love a meaningful conversation. I am always open to friendship, or doing something fun around the Atlanta area.
