been away from here for many months. sort of got caught for a while by someone whom i found to be quite lovely. but... [it takes a bit to hold my interest]

anyway. let's just say that i'm now having a look again. exploring the possibilities. and catching up on old messages.

[okay. i'll preface my profile by saying that there is a fair bit of cheekiness here. and deep seriousness as well.

those with the good grey stuff between their ears will figure it out. i trust in that.

consider that it is a menu from which you may take whatever you like. take it all as presented... or none of it. it's your prerogative.

regardless... it's all an honest reflection of myself. and i am real.

should you be one of the few whom do decide to stick with me, you'll find that i'm actually an interesting guy. one with a sense of humor. a massive heart. and a thirst for knowledge and continual growth. hardly a mainstream sort of guy... and one whom sort of pushes the envelope at times.

i have many vices. i like nice things. shoes. watches. glasses. clothes. ice cream [and i prefer to make my own... i know... done properly it gets a bit expensive but it's very good... and yes i do cook rather well]. books [ art books as well as non-fiction history and culture ]. cameras [i'm a photographer amongst other things]. aesthetics. style. design.

i'm not materialistic. far from it. rather i'm very discerning. i know what i like. and for that i make no apologies.

very low tolerance for arrogance, ignorance and bigots of any sort [religious, racial, gender, cultural, etc.].

I am intelligentsia, creative, and adventurous

working with a totally cool green starup with some fantastic people. changing people's lives. for the better. life is good.

i did mention photography, yeah? i'm a shooter. not a wanna be. nor a 'Flickr Pro.' i'm published. i normally shoot delicious storytelling sorts of images of others. i paint with my lenses. i do love to do that.

I'm also quite good at pitching. [no. not baseball. i suck at that.] pitching visionary ideas and concepts. and then the execution.

i've done all of that in professional sport. the media biz. and in fashion. [the whole of it... international as well as domestic]

professionally i love working across borders and cultures.

coffee. i'm good at pulling a proper cup. and good at drinking it as well [ask me how].

my smile. most especially if i'm in a cheeky mood.

i've been all round the globe. many times over. touched it's soil. taken in it's air. drank it's water. on all of it's continents [except antarctica].

i've looked into the face of this planet we call home. i've looked into the eyes and hearts of it's inhabitants. i've shared their food, drink, and laughter. their compassion and humanity. their religions and cultures. their hospitality.

i'm no holiday traveller. my treks are all to do with my work. for that i've been fortunate. i've truly lived. and loved.

the world. and it's people.
take care of it. and of each other.

i am very open-minded and uninhibited. i know how to kiss. and how to touch. i also have an explorative side... public places can be quite lovely.

soft, quiet, private, moments are always nice. hard, fast and physical moments are as well. depends on moods... and grooves...

if you are one of those sorts of women whom pride themselves on being 'blunt' and 'honest' and 'saying what's on your mind regardless,' then i'm NOT interested. the qualities i mentioned are just plain rude. they are a mark of lacking in sensitivity, discretion, sophistication, refinement, maturity and general human etiquette. regardless of gender. i have no interest in such people.

if you are a drama queen please keep surfing. if you don't have the presence of mind [or courtesy] to turn your mobile phone off [or to at least silence it] when meeting someone... keep surfing.
