My self-summary
I'm Cody. 25 years old. I live in Charlotte, in an apartment with a couple of roommates. I pay the bills working second shift as a dispatcher at Charlotte-Douglas. Got a car and a steady income and all that happy stuff. Just living the bachelor life for now.

I spend my late nights gaming or catching up on Netflix. Occasionally I'm out for karaoke or trivia. I'm fairly musically inclined as well. I've been playing guitar for close to ten years now, and can play the drums, as well as a little piano. I'm a huge football fan, and was born and raised a fan of the Denver Broncos. I bleed orange and blue.

The fastest way to strike up a conversation with me is to talk about music.I take my music very seriously and it's a big part of my life. I listen to almost anything, but metal and hard rock are my true loves. My taste ranges from A Day To Remember and August Burns Red, all the way to Dave Matthews Band, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox Twenty, and the like. Ask me about my other favorites.

I spend what little downtime I can find hanging out with friends, killing time doing things like shooting pool or bowling. I've been shooting a few times and I had a lot of fun with it. Doesn't take a whole lot to keep me entertained. Down for new things as well as things I'm familiar with.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm working nights at Charlotte-Douglas International as a fueling dispatcher. Nothing phenomenal but I do okay for myself.

I spend my free time hanging out with friends, catching up on some of my favorite shows, playing a little guitar, or gaming.

Every so often I get the chance to go to a show and catch a favorite band play. Definitely one of my favorite ways to spend a night off.
I’m really good at
Not really sure how to say what I'm "really good at."

I will say that I'm a fast learner. Show me something once or twice, let me have a go at it, and chances are I'll pick it up soon after.

Like I said, I've been playing guitar for almost 8 years now, and I wouldn't say I'm "really good," but I spend a lot of time honing my craft.

I've been told I'm a pretty funny guy. My mixture of sarcasm and dry humor seem to keep a lot of people laughing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I tend to be fairly shy and reserved at first, but once I get to know you I'm very open and talkative, and tend to not shut up. Naturally introverted, I suppose.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The only books I've ever been REALLY into are the Harry Potter books. I've read them all multiple times, and I guess I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to them. I've been known to drop knowledge and correct people about them from time to time.

The Walking Dead is my number one show, hands down. I also recently binge-watched all four seasons of Game of Thrones, so there's that. How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Friends, Big Brother, just a few of my favorite TV shows.

Music is pretty much my life. I'm a huge metalhead, but I listen to a little of everything else as well, including punk, rap, alternative, and some pop music. I've been known to dabble in EDM as well. Some of my favorite bands include:

A Day To Remember, All That Remains, The Amity Affliction, As I Lay Dying, Asking Alexandria, August Burns Red, Avenged Sevenfold, Beartooth, Blessthefall, Blink-182, Breaking Benjamin, Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, Chevelle, Darkest Hour, Deadmau5, The Devil Wears Prada, Emmure, From First to Last, Issues, Linkin Park, Memphis May Fire, Of Mice & Men, Parkway Drive, Periphery, Silverstein, The Story So Far, Three Days Grace, Woe Is Me, and honestly many more.
The six things I could never do without
Music, Friends, Family, Guitar, a job, and a car.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Probably too much to list here. My mind is always on something or another. Music stays on my mind a lot of the time. Keeping life in check is another thing I think a lot about.
On a typical Friday night I am
I work nights, so Friday is no different. Afterwards though I'm usually out and about grabbing a beer and reflecting on the week with good friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not a very religious person. Not an atheist, either. I just live. Karma and morals are basically what drive how I act, and I like to think they make me a good person.
You should message me if
If you saw something you liked. If you've got a similar taste in music, that's a huge starting point and I promise I'll talk your ear off about my favorite bands.
