My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello! I am many things...DJ, musician, writer, shaman, martial artist, astrologer, ponderer. I prefer associating with those who put intelligent and passionate effort into everything they do. People who go to work and then go home and watch tv bore me. I enjoy sharing my passion for music with others. My favorite genres are goth, industrial, EBM, synthpop, noise, other alternative electronic music, Celtic, folk and New Age.

Here's my "moment of Zen":

A healthy and happy heart does not cling to who and what it loves so tightly that it chokes the life out of them.

Everything swells and dissolves.

Appreciate what you have, here and now. It'll be gone before you know it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently do healthcare related data analysis as my vocation. However, I am fiercely independent and want very much to open a business that is able to provide healing and a sense of community. Along this route, I am now a certified massage therapist, and am becoming an AFA certified astrologer (I respect everyone's opinion of astrology as it is unquestionably a pseudoscience as modern science goes. However quantum physics is showing us that very much in this existence is relative). I'm doing the massage therapy certification in preparation for graduate work in Naturopathic Medicine. I recently finished my first semester in General Chemistry and loved it - even the pain and suffering! Especially the pain and suffering ;]

Spiritual growth is the most important thing in my life. Karate is compared by masters to a finely cut stone and similarly, this is how I see my life and my path. I want to chip away and smooth out the imperfections inherent in the average human character. I do not believe in a single god, nor do I necessarily believe in many gods. I am an animist. I believe that everything in existence, including the myriad plastics that litter this exceedingly abused planet, EVERYTHING is infused with life, with breath, with vigor. Everything hums, everything vibrates with a sacred energy that no scientific instrument that exists today can sense or measure.

I would love to be a great fighter, or at least a great martial artist, and along those lines, the style that has really resonated with me recently is Boabom (pre-Buddhist Tibetan defense-meditation). Training and discipline has amazing and beautiful effects on not only the human body, but even more so, on that subtle body that some call the spirit or soul. Physical pain and hardship are good for the soul. These open the way to sacrifice, to silence, to freedom. This is real, lasting strength - the kind that will see someone through a lifetime of accomplishment, but without the slave collar.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my piercing hazel eyes, filled with the blazing fires of Armageddon MWAHAHAHAHA
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: The Telling, 1984, We, The Warrior's Tale, Confessions of a Mask, Snow Country

Movies: The Seventh Seal, Excalibur, Hero, Equilibrium, Flash Gordon, Tank Girl, Elvira-Mistress of the Dark, The 24th Day

Music: Stromkern, Apoptygma Berzerk, VNV Nation, Covenant, Seabound, Loreena McKennitt, Diana Rowan

Food: Japanese, Thai, Italian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and once a year or so, a big, juicy, irresistable burger. Generally I eat VERY healthy, cutting meat, dairy, eggs, yeast, and fried stuff as much as is reasonable in the North American paradigm and buying organic and non-GMO whenever possible. I fast the day of the New Moon, feast the night of the Full Moon (meaning dairy sometimes), and eat MEAT (yuck! who does that anymore?! HAHA) on the four Celtic fire festivals. You are what you eat has never been more true than in our time. Don't eat at McDonald's - they put wood pulp in their food. (Cellulose - look it up)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
a Japanese futon bed; music; books; nature; peace of mind; your mom
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The end of the world, the beginning of a new age, religion, spirituality, the nature of things
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...either out dancing to industrial music (DAS BUNKER!), at home working on music or reading some astrology tome, or passed out from a long work week. Archery comes early on Saturday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I talk to myself way more than is probably healthy.

you are an intelligent, educated, ambitious individual who likes music, and you are on a conscious spiritual path, even if that path is defined as a lack of a spiritual path.
