Books: "Surely You're Joking,
Mr.
Feynman!"
The last novel I read was Jitterbug Perfume, and it was great. I
should read more fiction. :-/
Subscriptions: The Economist, Adbusters, Freedom From Religion
Foundation, KQED.
Podcasts: Radiolab, This American Life, 99% Invisible, Judge John
Hodgman, KCRW's Strangers, Snap Judgment, Here Be Monsters, Planet
Money, All Things Considered, Econtalk, other public radio in
podcast form.
Movies: Fucked up dramas like Requiem for a Dream, Pulp Fiction,
and Pi. Comedies like Office Space, Half Baked, and The Big
Lebowski.
TV: Sorry Jon Stewart, but Arrested Development is the best TV show
ever made.
Music: I listen to music all the time but don't have sophisticated
taste. I usually just listen to the things I like from the stuff
that my friends introduce me to.
Nerdery: computer science, math, biology, economics, philosophy,
politics
sarcasm, wordplay, reddit
So yeah, podcasts are my only real connection to pop culture right
now. (On that note,
Bullseye is excellent.) I kinda miss watching movies,
but not enough to do it on my own.
