Purple Rain

Jun 7, 2011

Is it difficult to believe that a man who grew up through the eighties has never seen Purple Rain? I don't think so. I guess the real question to consider is should a man who grew up through the eighties watch Purple Rain for the first time at the age of 30, nearly 24 years after its release? I'm uncertain of the correct answer. Especially now that it's much too late.

Coffee

Aug 21, 2010

I no longer enjoy the effects of dread bulls. It unleashes an aggravated side of my personality and promotes stress instead of the vitality and vigor it promises on the side of the can. I have moved back into a purely coffee drinking lifestyle. Coffee being a diuretic empties my system and according to scientific studies helps to prevent heart disease. Dread bulls do the opposite. Plus it also contains mass amounts of sugar--the sugar free sort may be less poisonous to imbibe but it definitely doesn't taste that way. Coffee also smells like youth. The aroma alone reminds me of waking up with my family. The dread bull smells like infant diarrhea. I'm done with it. I'm pouring a cup of cheap Folgers right now.
