My self-summary
Born and raised just outside of Winnipeg, I've worked in various IT positions and as such has allowed me to travel all across Canada but something just keeps me here in Winnipeg.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a Business Analyst working in the IT branch of Family Services for the Government Of Manitoba and loving it!
I’m really good at
Commanding the electricity gods to do my bidding!!! Mwahahahahaaaaaaaaa!!

Oh wait, dang, I'm just good with computers... I always get those two confused.

Cooking! I try to make a new dish every week.
The first things people usually notice about me
My face...: Camera's cannot accurately portray my awesomeness. I'm best experienced in person.

My ability to always look on the bright side of life.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite authors: Carl Sagan, Michio Kaku, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Neil Gaiman, Richard Dawkin's, Douglas Adams, Issac Asimov, Stephen Hawking, A.C. Grayling... many many more.

I am currently reading: Richard Dawkin's - An Appetite For Wonder. Next on the reading list: An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth: What Going to Space Taught Me About Ingenuity, Determination, and Being Prepared for Anything by Col. Chris Hadfield.

TV: Sons Of Anarchy, Big Bang Theory, House, Law & Order, The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, Adventure Time!

Music: Almost anything; I have a very eclectic taste that changes on a daily basis.

Currently obsessing over (02/20/2014):
B. Fleishman, duo505, Benny Benassi, Maximum The Hormone! On a classical note, Sven Helbig's amazing album: Pocket Symphonies (Featuring: The Fauré Quartett, Kristjan Järvi, & the MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony) and last but certainly not least the Amazing, Vivacious, Shocking, Miss Caro Emerald! Fan-freaking-tastic jazz/swing/dance.

Food: I love being in the kitchen cooking up a feast whilst listening to music.
The six things I could never do without
1: Music
2: Comedy
3: Cold beer
4: Morning coffee
5: A cast iron frying pan
6: Evenings watching the sun go down over the water at the cabin
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Usually: Life, The Universe, And Everything Else.
Sometimes: Sex, Death, And The Meaning Of Life.
Note: Not mutually exclusive.

How to make the perfect pizza... my life's obsession!

Things to do:
Permanent Government job -- Check
House -- Check! As of March 7th I am a new home owner!
Buy Corgi -- Initial payment has been made!
Find someone to settle down with -- Still looking!
Kids!? -- Is it odd that I've always wanted kids?

Isn't it strange how life works sometimes? All my friends who never wanted to be married and have kids have gotten married and now have kids. Here I am, the only one who actually wanted to start a family; still single... could you be the one?!

So I have things to do at the new house: new furnace, painting, laminate flooring, unboxing, unboxing, unboxing...

If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy. -- Red Green
On a typical Friday night I am
Out at my cabin spending the weekend away from the cacophony of the city.

When I am in the city however, you'll find me making a pizza and chilling to music or maybe a movie... or having fun with friends (either entertaining or going out.) I'm an easy-going guy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Porcelain dolls freak me out.... all creepy and pseudo-real looking.
I’m looking for
  • Straight girls only
  • Ages 18–35
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
you are looking for a confident, fun-loving man. I have a wonderful life full of family and friends -- all I'm looking for is someone to share it with!

Oh and just to be clear:
Yes, I smoke cannabis. Why? It "removes" 80-90% of the pain I have in my feet (I have feet problems which I won't go into detail about but I am in pain every time I take a step.)

I have the word removes in quotation marks because cannabis is a pain distractor and not a pain remover like OxyContin, or morphine. It has been recommended by ALL my doctors over any of the other drugs that I could be using to manage my pain. The other drugs have lovely side-effects such as "may cause liver damage", 'may cause kidney damage", "may cause death" (how is this a side-effect?!)

I try to live my life as healthy as possible, cannabis allows me to exercise and love my life -- not live in constant pain.
