My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Born and raised just outside of Winnipeg, I've worked in various IT positions and as such has allowed me to travel all across Canada but something just keeps me here in Winnipeg.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
By day I'm an IT Analyst working for the Government Of Manitoba.

By night I'm my own personal chef creating delicious delicacies on demand. An autodidact who loves learning and watching documentaries. A rabid music collector of all kinds who thinks he can sing but probably cannot. Last but not least, someone who will make you laugh. I am all of these things and more; you'll just have to get to know me to find out what else.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Commanding the electricity gods to do my bidding!!! Mwahahahahaaaaaaaaa!!
Oh wait, dang, I'm just good with computers... I always get those two confused.

Voice acting! Fancy way of saying I can do certain celebrity and cartoon character voices.

Cooking! I try to make a new dish every week.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My face...: A camera cannot accurately portray my awesomeness. I'm best experienced in person.

My ability to always look on the bright side of life.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Favorite authors: Carl Sagan, Michio Kaku, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Neil Gaiman, Richard Dawkin's, Douglas Adams, Issac Asimov, Stephen Hawking, A.C. Grayling... many many more.

I am currently reading: An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth: What Going to Space Taught Me About Ingenuity, Determination, and Being Prepared for Anything by Col. Chris Hadfield.

TV: Sons Of Anarchy, Big Bang Theory, House, Law & Order, The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, Adventure Time!

Music: Almost anything; I have a very eclectic taste that changes on a daily basis.

Currently obsessing over (12/01/2014):
Been in an electro-swing/Jazz kind of mood lately: Proleter - Rookie EP: If this jazz-hop doesn't get you up and dance I don't know what will! Kognitif - My Space World : For when you want a little prog in your hip-hop. Interesting experimental jazz coming from Klockwerk - Napalm Blue. Ever hear of the Canadian moog pioneer Mort Garson? Neither did I but his album Zodiac Cosmic Sounds from 1967 is an amazing trip! Oh and Cosmo Sheldrake... The Moss. Look for the video on Youtube; awesome experimental folk! Vulfpeck... woah.

Album to find: Beyond Heaven by Jeo Qu-Cheon (aka Joe Trio)... I've been looking for this album for 5 years now and counting... must find someone in South Korea to get this album for me!

Food: My favorite food is pizza... It's a little obsession of mine. Not in the "eat pizza every day" kind of obsession but the "I want to try making the most bestest pizza ever!" kind.

When it comes to food -- I'll try anything!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
0: Pizza
1: Music
2: Comedy
3: Cold beer
4: Morning coffee
5: A cast iron frying pan
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

Note: Not mutually exclusive.

How to make the perfect pizza... my life's obsession!

I have lots of things to do at my new house: new furnace, painting, laminate flooring, new lawnmower, snowblower, put in back door for new dog... oi!

So much work to do on the new house! But you know what they say: "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy." -- Red Green

Learning how to play a steel-lap guitar in the new year Woo hoo!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out at my cabin spending the weekend away from the cacophony of the city.

When I am in the city however, you'll find me making a pizza and chilling to music or maybe a movie... or having fun with friends (either entertaining or going out.) I'm an easy-going guy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

you are looking for someone whose as awesome as you are! I have a wonderful life full of family and friends -- I'm just looking for that special someone to share it with!

Oh and just to be clear:
Yes, I smoke cannabis. Why? It "removes" 80-90% of the pain I have in my feet (I have feet & hand problems which I won't go into detail about but If you ask and are nice about it I may tell you more :-)

I have the word removes in quotation marks because cannabis is a pain distractor and not a pain remover like OxyContin, or morphine. It has been recommended by ALL my doctors over any of the other drugs that I could be using to manage my pain. The other drugs have lovely side-effects such as "may cause liver damage", 'may cause kidney damage", "may cause death" (how is this a side-effect?!)

I try to live my life as healthy as possible and cannabis allows me to exercise and love my life -- not live in constant pain.

Thanks for taking the time to read my profile!
Hope to hear from you.
