My corkboard is next to a nodding cowboy and a map of Sierra Leone
made from twine. It contains postcards from the US, Greece, Canada;
vegetarian listings; scales and chord charts; tickets to shows,
dances; polaroids; a list of art and cultural events; an
independent designer brochure; keyboard shortcuts; museum entry
tags; library card details; a wedding invite; vitamin charts; a
hastily compiled list of bicycle parts; lanyards for festivals;
important dates; Chinese phrases and an emergency necklace (in case
of flooding).
But there's always room for more.
