My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If I was to surmise a summary, I'd say: I have many different positive and negative physical, emotional and spiritual traits.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am restless and wandering. I've traveled a bit, and hope to always.
I feel like I am constantly self assessing and growing. I really want good things from life, and as a result I have met lots of people and lived lots of places. I am fickle, I hold this life to a high standard!
Right now I'm preparing to settle in for a few years and attend the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. I'm anxious and excited, shifting my life course will be scary but so fun.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making fermented foods, cutting up fabric and sewing it back together, embroidery, being a cat whisperer, tarot, zines, karaoke, commiserating. I'm a good cook, soup is my specialty. I like playing the ukulele/guitar/piano and singing along, but I'm not very good.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Whatever sweater I am wearing. My dazzling wit and hypnotic charm. Booty shorts. I'm a little shy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Some authors I like include: Ursula K. LeGuin, Tom Robbins, John Robbins, Micheal Pollan, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende, Emma Goldman, Robert Anton Wilson, Jack Kerouac, Octavia Butler, bell hooks, Zora Neal Hurston, etc., etc.
Wild Fermentation is a lovely book.
I like graphic novels, comics, and zines.
I'm currently reading the Earthsea Trilogy by LeGuin

Movies I like include: Persepolis, Lost Boys, Valley Girl, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Secretary, Psycho, Capote, Ghost World, Zombi, Halloween, Creep Show, Blue Valentine, Wayne's World, Blue is the Warmest Color, Scream, Scream 4, Jason Goes to Hell, The Lego Movie.

Nova, TNG, and X-files are my favorite T.V. shows. And Broad City, that show is great.

I could be classified as "freegan," although I don't like this term as it seems so cutesy. I love Sriracha, sushi, soup and sandwiches. Also, all the vegetables(aside from Beets...ugg, gross).

Musically, I like Crystal Castles, Grimes, the Reatards, Crystal Stilts, The Vaselines, Pram, the Oblivians, The Castanets, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Ariel Pink, Ela Orleans, etc. Country music 1985-1995 is generally amazing. I think Nina Simone is my soul guide.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Cast iron pans
the bins/freeboxes/free food porches/living off the excess(it is really fun, I kinda dig frugality)
creative outlets
bright colors
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The nature of consciousness, the nature of nature, what songs I want to learn on the ukulele, song lyrics, art projects, foods I want to make, everything, nothing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't wanna be a player no more.
