My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Almost a year out of uni I find myself dumped in the midlands with a job I dislike. I don't like excessive consumerism or nationalism.

I am thematic, seated, and utilitarian
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
So I finally finished a 4 year degree in Hull reading American studies - no one knows what this degree is for, least of all myself. I work in an office and look out of the window too much. I read and play games and immerse myself in all forms of escapism to pass the time, then wonder if I might be getting old. At some point I'd like to try games journalism.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Well I'm pretty good at computer games. A lot of people just dismiss them, but they really are just as important culturally as music, art, film and literature.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I honestly don't know. I've been told that I look like Pete Townshend.

I'm really not into lists like this. I hate looking at them a year later and wondering how I could be into that trash.

um, books, I'm re reading Catch 22 at the minute. I just finished Trainspotting, the sequel was rubbish, don't bother with it.

The last film I saw that really impressed me was Tideland (tag line - the squirrels made it seem less lonely).

For music, I'd love to say that I was really into Sonic Youth, and I am, but honestly I only have two albums. They may be two of the most perfect albums ever, but I'm afraid to listen to any more in case I don't like it and it ruins the band for me.

do lovehearts count as food? I'm really into love hearts. you know, the little sweets with messages on. man they rule.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I guess I like to think of myself as fairly self sufficient. I'm definitely a light packer. Having said that, I take a book with me almost everywhere and I get withdrawal if I can't check webcomics.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Almost certainly drinking with friends. Either just lounging at home or out and about somewhere, sometimes making a real go of it, sometimes just a few cups, but friday is definitely for drinking.

You like the idea of overthrowing the government of America in a popular uprising after a protracted and gruelling campaign of guerilla warfare.
