Midwestern girl with an appetite for adventure.
I have lived in Southern California since 2000. Other places I have
lived include Boston, New York, and Chicago. I am career focused
and enjoy many interests outside of work.
In my spare time I volunteer for hospice doing pet therapy and do
dog rescue work with a local organization.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I'm enjoying each day as it comes. I enjoy cycling,
hiking, chasing snow, bikram yoga, live music, dinners out, dinners
in, and lots of cinema.
I’m really good at
I'm good at perceiving people's energy, reading a room, spreading
joy, smiling and laughing, being silly, dancing...listening to my
partner, being present.
The first things people usually notice about me
People notice my unique bright eyes, and kind demeanor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
So many books, can't name them all. Come look for yourself at my
collection, I keep my favorites.
I enjoy legal dramas, crime stories, and shows with family themes,
including Brothers and Sisters, Breaking Bad, 24, Shameless
(horrible but hilarious), Homeland and The Affair.
My music collection is diverse, influenced by my friends and
I enjoy eating fresh fruit and vegetables every day. I'm not much
of a meat eater but I do eat it sparingly. I prefer fish if given a
choice. I'm relatively open to all types of cuisine, my favorites
are thai, indian, sushi, italian, and of course occasionally a
grilled mozzerella cheese sandwich.
The six things I could never do without
access to play in nature

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Every morning I think about a flowering plant I've kept alive for
over a year. There were several times it looked dead and I was
ready to give it up, but I always gave it another chance and it
keeps coming back with new buds. It's been a metaphor of life to
watch the old life fall away, and see the new growth flower in
abundance. NOTE: I thought for sure this plant was dead after the
last couple months. Then one day I woke up to see two pink flowers.
There is always more life, even in the drought.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing at home or with neighbors, or enroute to weekend fun
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a sucker for Girl Scout cookies...once a year.
