I tend to over-react on the small things, but this shallow turmoil belies a very consistent personality type. That is to say, the big problems don't get me upset, they just get me working to fix them. I enjoy simple pleasures as well as intellectual ones; you'll find dipping my toes in the ocean as often as wandering the halls of a museum, though I don't get out as often as I should. I'm working on fixing that, though!

I'm mostly looking for someone who piques my interests, and the best way for anyone to do that is to be interested in at least one of three major things; The Dresden Files book series, the Doctor Who television series, or 3.5 Edition Dungeons and Dragons. I'm a total screaming fangirl over the first two things and I just love the role playing in the last one.

I would insult the hard cores if I called myself a gamer, but I do enjoy most rpg's, even if I have to play them on easy. Portal was the most fun game EVER. I've been known to play the Sims, Diablo II, Assassin's Creed, Oblivion (my current addiction), and Infamous.

In real life, about the only socialization I get outside of going to College is the Live Action Role Playing (LARP) group I attend... I'm embarassed to say that we are currently doing a Vampire themed session, however, I'm playing a batshit crazy one that otherwise drinks blood, dislikes garlic and holy water, and bursts into flame when touched by sunlight, so there's that small bit of comfort.

Don't worry about me being one of those obnoxious vampire fangirls, I've always avoided them like the plague. Neither am I one of those dark, brooding types that couldn't have a good time to save their lives. Also, people with too much energy kind of scare me, you know the kind that just talk to hear themselves talk ALL THE TIME?!

I mean... I talk to hear myself talk when The Dresden Files or Doctor Who or me comes up... <_< >_> Shut up, I'm not a hypocrite!

Currently going to college, maybe for a psychology degree... Possibly considering other things that are science-y but not math-intensive like perhaps archaeology, art history or linguistics. I love learning, you see, but this calculus I'm taking makes me need to kill things.

There's nothing I'm truly exceptional at, but generally if you give me something to do, I'll be able to do it at above average proficiency for a beginner. I'm something like that Jack of all trades, master of none.

I draw and write, though. I've been told I'm pretty good at those. Probably better at writing than drawing, though I've been drawing since I can remember.

Either that I'm really quiet or that I'm really socially awkward. x_x

I'm a total screaming fangirl over Doctor Who and the Dresden Files. Bringing either of these up will get me on an hour long rant on how awesome they are. My musical tastes tend to be along the lines of Rock and Alternative. My culinary tastes tend to lean towards either light flavors in vegetables or vaguely savory but mostly meaty flavors in meats. Also, snow crab is delicious. x3

Aside from the obvious, food, air, shelter, that sort of thing, I couldn't live without uplifting books and music, internet access, my best friend, my sight (as horrible as it is, I love looking at things), and a nice place to live (this would include having lots of interesting places to go nearby and being a pretty, and safe place)

Homework. Oh god. Homework!

Playing D&D with my best friend and his group or LARP'ing depending on what's going on. I like to role play. x_X

I don't think of sex as "making love". I think of it as getting off, and the most pleasurable route to that end. Guys who talk about "making love" and nothing else confuse me.
