Well what to say about me. My name is Alex, I live in downtown Long beach and I work in the field of engineering. I am a 25 years old day walker; not a full-blood ginger. I do wield a ginger beard, however not as grand as an irish saint. I have been getting really into photography, especially shots of the harbor. I really enjoy how nature and industry can come together and make some beautiful scenes.

I drive a toyota tundra as a guilty pleausre. Its my dirt farmer roots of being from riverside haha. I love family and am very close to mine. My grandparents are the coolest 1920 hipsters you will ever meet.

I used to be an actual sailor as a merchant marinee. No, not as a deckhand on a sailboat, but as an engineering officer on container and tanker ships. This let me travel the world and see just how lucky I am I get to live in America. I mean there are some basic things in life we really take for granted here. I also have tons of sea stories that I love sharing. Now I work in the harbor, trading in my sea legs for harbor ones. Still fun and still a crazy schedule.

I really love making people laugh, and can understand most any type of humor. I love sarcastic, goofy, stupid, witty, light humor.... which usually means I tend to watch comedies such as groundhogs day, office space, the hangover, and burn after reading.

Bike riding on the beach has been a blast. Start in long beach, have lunch/drinks in belmont shore finish up in neport/sunset beach. That's a good time right there. That being said, I do enjoy a good beer if the night so warrents it.

Right now I'm working in the harbor and trying to but an art show together (April sometime). Planning my next big trip. Last year it was Brasil for Carnival, so if you have any ideas let me know! Also trying to get to 88 miles an hour...

It's actually a weird skill, but im really good at expanding on people's ideas. Be it movie, book, invention, video game, story, idea on what to do today. I'm really good at picking up people's emotions. I really enjoy making people laugh or help them when they are feeling blue

My gingervitus and that I am a big dude. Not disgustingly fat, just big shoulders and what not. Also that I am upbeat and loud

Movie: Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, Thank You for Smoking, zombie movies, The Gods Must Be Crazy, Burn after Reading, The Science of Sleep, Boondock Saints, anything directed by Kevin Smith, most adventure/horror/comedy movies. juno, pineapple express, 40 yr old virgin. There are actually a lot of these, but I cant remember any of them right now. Ask me about it. Star Wars 4,5,6 and the ending to episode 3, grandma's boy, tropic thunder, office space, My name is bruce, army of darkness, evil dead, Rambo, Rocky 3, pixar movies, fight club, the Friday series..

Food: I love trying everything, but sushi and Mexican food are the best. And my new favorite Korean bbq

Music: pretty much everything, tho whatever my radio says in my car is usually what I like at the moment

Family/Friends, people, comedy, ocean, sun tan lotion

Whats in store for my future and when I look back how far I have come. How "Cloudy, with a chance of meatballs" was better as a book.

Sleeping beacuse of work in the morning, diving into a dive bar, hang'n with the roomie and/or something random. Going to a show or club if I'm feel'n frisky, lots of good stuff in downtown long beach
