My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I think meeting in person is a better way to get to know each other, but I can describe myself a little here: I like playing sports and games, movies, going out with friends like anyone else; I've really been enjoying New York, but would love a good dance partner and companion.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Looking for a way to help people but still make a living out of it. Right now I'm doing data science and visualization for a major newspaper (making pretty charts and infographics). I promised myself I'll get back to teaching some day, but not just yet.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Staying active - frisbee on Mondays, climbing Tuesdays, soccer Thursdays, and biking to work when it's not raining.

I can also play you something fun on the ukulele.

Books: lately? Kurt Vonnegut, Jonathan Franzen, Junot Diaz, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, Michael Lewis. Tackling Infinite Jest.

Movies: Of this year's Oscar Nominees I really liked Beasts of the Southern Wild, Zero Dark Thirty. I also like most anything by the Coen Brothers, Wes Andersen, Quentin Tarantino, Pixar. I always liked Fight Club and Snatch

Shows: My favorite concerts are the small ones with a band that you've never heard of, but totally surprises you. Also, I love subway performers. I got to see Book of Mormon on Broadway and it was amazing.
