Well, I'm 30 years old and work as an editor. I've lived in Southern California all my life, except for college when I was on the East Coast. Some of my interests include cooking and one of my goals this year is to cook more. I also enjoy reading, traveling and trying new restaurants. I'm not much of a club/bar person, but I like concerts, movies, bowling and play a mean game of air hockey.

Books: I love food lit, works by Calvin Trillin for example. Aside from that, I like some nonfiction and memoirs like David Sedaris, but for the most part I enjoy fiction. Ann Hood, Elizabeth Berg, Diane Chamberlain, Daniel Handler, Douglas Coupland. I love to read. The Santa Monica Public Library is my friend.

Movies: It's more difficult to pick favorite movies, because they're constantly changing. I usually like comedies, but also like dramas too. The last movie I rented that I loved was Little Children.

Music: The Killers, Foo Fighters, White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Bravery

Food: Despite being born and raised in L.A., I think food-wise I'm a Southern girl at heart. Fried chicken, macaroni and cheese. I also enjoy Chinese food, matzo ball soup, pasta and chocolate. Although you'd never be able to tell, I also enjoy eating healthy things as well.

I can be shy and quiet when I first meet people, but have been told that once you get to know me I have a pretty odd sense of humor.

You'd be interested in hanging out with someone who isn't much of a clubber and not a huge drinker, but would rather go to the movies or out to eat.
