My self-summary
I'm a single mom, with twin boys. If that scares you away, fine. lol. I am lots of fun to be around, but not generally one of those chipper, smiley people who drive you crazy with their giddiness. A happy pessimist if you must. I do better around optimistic people. I have a great sense of humor, and I consider myself very funny, in a dry and sarcastic sort of way. I enjoy doing physical things, like hiking and exploring, but am in no way hardcore about it. I'm pretty average in most ways, I guess. Geez, really selling myself aren't I?

When it comes to the type of relationship I am looking for, I am not here for strictly physical enjoyment. I am looking for someone to spend time with, and someone I enjoy being around. I want to start by just hanging out and getting to know the other person, but eventually, with the right person, I would like something more serious. I am always looking for new friends though.

I’m really good at
This is a hard one. I'm good at everything but not great at anything. What is the saying? Jack of all trades and master of nothing. That's me. Plus, it's really hard to just blurt out abilities. If you want to know what I'm good at, ask.

Well, I could at least try I guess.
~I am really good at exploring. Whether it be out in the woods, or in a good book. I like to look around and see what tickles my fancy.
~I am really good at conversation. Usually.....Well sort of..... On second thought, yeah I would have to say, well, no, but.... Ummm..... Most times whatever situation I'm in, whomever my company may be, I usually have an easy time of keeping an interesting and effortless conversation going. Sometimes.......
~I am really good at using comma's where they are not needed in the sentence, nor where they are correctly supposed to go, and you can call it a run-on sentence, I prefer to call it, as incorrectly as it may be, a stream of consciousness, because I tend to write how the thoughts and phrases come in my head, which by no means is correct, but it is how my brain works. Ahhh.....you may breath now.
~I'm rather good at balancing random objects on either my chin or forehead. It's a gift.
~I'm REALLY good at getting other people addicted to sushi... MMmmm.... Sushi.
~People watching. If there were grades, or if people kept score, I would totally whoop you.
~I'm an amazing procrastinator. I can put anything off for an exorbitant amount of time.
~I had a ridiculous obsession with all things new, and fabulous I found on Netflix. I'm better now. It was new and exciting before, now it is just convenient. See below section regarding television/movie interests for more information.
~Being awkward. I am horrible at meeting new people. Once I get to know you, I'm cool, but that initial meeting phase.....whew! Loser. (For you spelling freaks out there, heck yes I spelled "awkward" right on the first try. For all you grammar freaks out there, I am so sorry. Please forgive me.)

The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall, I'm thick. I'm shy at first and slightly awkward, but warm up quickly and then I'm outgoing and fun to be around. And I have beautiful eyes.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Anything Star Wars (up to 30 years past A New Hope), Lasher, anything about the Knights Templar, The Giver and I just finished Pride and Prejudice and Zombies which I found delightful. I'm really not understanding the fascination with zombies, and the supposed zombie apocalypse, but it is interesting to think about. If someone would like to explain to me whether this apocalypse is a danger in the near future, or just a fun fad to think/dream about, I would love to hear about it. I'm looking forward to starting The Sword of Truth series because I enjoyed the show on netflix so much. (I may need an intervention from this netflix entity!)

Movies: V for Vendetta, Fight Club, Chocolate (not to be confused with Chocolat, although Johnny Depp is rather hot in that movie!), Pan's Labyrinth, Serenity, SFW, Knocked Up, Camille, The Man Who Cried, Pineapple Express, and many more.

TV shows: Dexter, Dexter, Dexter. I hate to say I completed season 1 and season 2 in less than 4 days. I know, I know, but seriously, I do have a life. FIREFLY!!, The Tudors, TrueBlood (YES! I love it! And I admitted it! I should at least get some credit for that.), Robin Hood, Ghosthunters, almost anything on the History channel and likewise on the Discovery Channel. SyFy channel is the shit. As is BBC america. So of course Doctor Who is one of my favorites.

Music: Stevie Ray Vaughn, O.A.R., 2 live crew, 3OH!3, The Proclaimers, The Hunger, The Offspring, Apocalyptica, Sir Mix a Lot, Anthrax, The Violent Femmes, Black Eyed Peas, OutKast, Johnny Cash, Cake, Tupac, Kid Rock, Fiona Apple, FloRida, Hollywood Undead, Big and Rich, Beastie Boyes, Pussy Cat Dolls, Tenacious D, Garbage, ICP, Santana, Josh Groban, Lords of Acid, Lady GaGa, Nada Surf, Zappa, Nirvana, Robert Randolph, Savage, T.I., Talking Heads, She Wants Revenge, Petey Pablo, Run DMC, Gogol Bordello. But the list goes on and on. Most of the time if I don't like it, it's because I haven't heard it yet.

Food: I love sushi (not raw usually), applesauce, chocolate milk, broccoli, and asparagus, among many other things. Really want to try Indian food. I've been told it's delightful.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
what the future (our present) would have been like it Ford had produced a water powered engine. Why flies always find my bedroom window and buzz around at 3 o'clock in the morning, slamming into it 6 jillion times trying to get outside. Doesn't that hurt? Why I buy individual string cheese instead of a block of provolone. Why in the hell I bought a 12,000 gallon swimming pool. It's cool, the tree in the back has been growing the Benjamins. Why I just capitalized "Benjamins". I'm sorry it just didn't feel right not capitalizing it. Why I sometimes give inanimate objects dirty looks and hateful words. For instance: "Why did you trip me?....stray shoe in the middle of my living room floor...........that I should have picked up the last time I tripped on you.......... Punk." Why it's so hard to say "giggity giggity goo." Why I ear hustle on other people and their conversations, and other random, meaningless things.

On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting at home reading a book, or out with friends. I usually work early on Saturday, but that's my big party night. Well, so is Saturday I guess. I work all week, and have my kids all week, so when the weekend comes, I just wanna get my yaw-yaws out.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am unbelievably ticklish. Chances are, if you poke me ANYWHERE unexpectedly, it will tickle. Even the palms of my hands....

When I talk to myself, I do it in a British accent.

I have never been so jokingly serious in my life.

I'm am terrified of clowns and midgets. Don't know why, just am.

I gag when I use q-tips in my ears.

I have recurring dreams of being able to breathe under water. I love the water and swim like a fish. I don't like water when I can't see the bottom.

............ I am a complete and total sucker for red heads. Doesn't mean you have to be ginger, you just get wicked sexy points if you are. Also, tall guys. Also, left handed people. No idea why......

I also fantasize about knowing how to properly wield a samurai sword, and defend myself against imaginary attackers. And, I choreograph dance moves to my favorite songs in my head while I am driving. All kinds of songs, not just dancey dance ones.

And yes, my profile is long. No, my fingers are not tired. Please stop asking....

I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 25-35
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends
You should message me if
you feel like it. You should have an inkling by now if you are interested in talking to me or not. I leave it up to you. Also, if you are above 6 feet tall.

And you made it this far through that long winded, randomness. Might as well.
