I was born and raised in Winnipeg. It is a pretty cold place so like most kids from there I grew up playing hockey, tobogganing down hills and watching the Jets. After high school I headed out east to Ottawa and started my own business while in university over there. I finally ended up in Toronto in the summer of 2015 after one of the most brutal moving experiences ever. It was worth it though, living in downtown is a blast.
What I’m doing with my life
Music. Yoga. And sometimes yoga with music playing in the background.
Music was a big part of my life growing up. I learned all sorts of instruments, my favorite being the piano, which I still play today. I have always loved to sing and I moved to Toronto to become a professional singer. In between practicing, I am also building the music video game Noteloop.
I started doing yoga after moving to Toronto and I take classes regularly at YYoga. I still have a long way to go in my practice, I am usually the only person in class who can't touch their toes.
I’m really good at
The Recorder. I'm probably the only person you'll ever meet who has a Grade 4 certificate in recorder from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Dance Central 3
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Japanese and Korean. I am trying to learn both languages at the same time, which is probably a little too ambitious as they aren’t very similar. Props to King Sejong, the sheer monstrosity that is Kanji has really made me appreciate the beauty of Hangeul.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out in the entertainment district.
