Dislikes:
-coffee (I'm half Colombian, I grew up around the stuff, I dislike it so!), doesn't matter though if others like it, I just don't
-ignorance (and people who think they are 100%free of it)
-bad music
-uber-average people (I'm not average, so I don't seem to click well with the 'normies')

Other Stuff About Me...
-I really want to join a band, but can't find enough people (I'm always open to band names though)
-I need a new social life since it's been so quiet the past few years (all my friends went to school far away and we just kind of drifted apart)
-I can't draw to save my life
-I'm gonna be a writer/director and make my own movies one day (hell, many days!!!)
-I'm here for both friends and a possible girlfriend, but I will start with friends first since I find that to be the easiest, safest way to go about it
-I'm an agnostic (although I'm no fan of organized religion, I try to respect other religions and can't help my own Catholic upbringing, but I do not identify with any religion I've come across aside from my own personal beliefs)
-politically, I'm pretty liberal
-I love the US, but I hate so much about it too (I used to see problems, the positve part of me sees extreme room for improvement)
-I don't volunteer much, but I do feel a sense of moral obligation to help those who cannot help themselves (wish I did more though, I'm too lazy/passive sometimes)
-I can't help being overprotective of my younger sisters
-although I enjoy the outdoors, I'm not a huge fan of heat, I prefer cool weather, love sweaters, gloves, scarves, beanies and blankets
-I like letting others influence me and rub off on me
-I often appear shy (and sometimes apathetic) at first, but I loosen up quite quickly among people I like
-I'm not a large partier, I prefer get-togethers (doesn't mean I don't like loud, stupid fun)
-I haven't had a solid girlfriend in a year and am not trying to force a relationship, I'd rather be suprised by someone, rather than forcing two people to feel obligated to try and date
-though I may try to hide it, I can be quite a nerd
-I try and give everyone the benefit of the doubt
-I try not to form opinions on things I am not well informed on which sometimes makes me feel ignorant, but I'm either withholding judgement or uninterested
-I think and live in my head much more than it appears, but I don't accomplish as much as one would hope with all that time
-I speak decent Spanish and horrible French/German
-I'm pretty mellow, it's hard to get me to yell over anything unless it involves other people getting stepped over
-I tend to ramble on when bored (and I'm bored at the moment)

I am humorous, creative-y, and random

I graduated in the Summer of '10 and have been pursuing a career in filmmaking. I spent the weekends of my senior year of college driving to NJ to work on various film projects with several friends of mine. Now I'm making my money traveling around the North East (mainly NYC) doing sound work for various production gigs.
Basically, I'm the guy you see on film/production sets holding the huge microphone pole over all the action.
It's hard work but I love it. Lately, I've also been expanding out into camera as well.

I'm a decent guitar player and like creating things. Since, I'm a poor drawer, those things usually involving writing, music or other, non-drawing, visual arts. (well, not true, I can draw a pretty mean comic strip with my stick figure people!)

Oh, I'm also told I'm quite good at getting a laugh out of others. (I can be pretty random :P )

I'm shy at first but I warm up pretty quickly. And yes, if you let me speak, I will try to make a joke the first chance I get.

A. I'm working on becoming more of a reader lately but can't declare *too* many favorite books.
Here are a few of the ones i really liked though...
"Johnny Got His Gun," "The Time Traveler's Wife," The Elegant Universe," "Holiday's on Ice" "Alice in Wonderland"
I mostly read articles and nonfiction books on topics like History, Science, Film and Photography.

B. Saving Private Ryan is my favorite. I'm a fan of war, comedy and movies that make me think. Other movie favorites are: -Anchorman -Dr. Stranglove: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb -The Back to the Future Series -Rolling Kansas -The Shawshank Redemption -The Godfather Trilogy -City of God -Edward Scissor Hands
I also have a special place in my heart for Exeperimental Film which I often classify as different from "movies."
I used to have a huge crush on Maya Derren. :P

C. I love the Smashing Pumpkins!!! I also like, Radiohead, Elliot Smith, the Killers, Arcade Fire, CocoRosie, Regina Spektor, Zwan, Mirah, Norah Jones, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, and a bunch of other junk I can't remember right now

D. When it comes to food, I like it all! Bring it on!

Hmmm... -water -dollar store gloves -music (that inlcuded my guitar! :) ) -family -some type of writing utensil -my countless expectations for tomorrow (ok, cheesy, but it seemed to fit :) )

Story ideas. I wanna be a film writer/director and I've always got little plots and characters in my mind. Oooh, also, philosophy junk and things that hurt my mind and scare me at night. But at the same time, I like asking "why?"

Chatting with friends, reading a book, watching a movie, or working some part of another 12+hr day.

According to that Myers-Briggs Type Test I see everyone talking about, I am an INTJ which sounds about right.
(even though I tend to be skeptical about personality tests :P )
