i spend my days sitting behind a desk, doing something i'm very good at but also extremely bored with. i'm constantly in search of more happiness, more knowledge and more life experience.

i have wonderful friends who tell me that i'm not only smart but a smart ass. i'm honest to a fault; i practice the "don't ask if you don't want the answer" rule. i have my quirks, but i'm not a nutcase. i'm a night owl, not a morning person. i cannot function properly without coffee and i think better with cigarettes and beer.

i can be argumentative, especially when i want to understand your viewpoint. i surround myself with good people that know how to have a good time. i am happier with music, not so much with tv. i love "horror" movies but most of them do not "horrify" me anymore. i wish i lived somewhere warm year-round; i do appreciate the changing of the seasons, i just don't like being cold.

so there's a rambling jumble of mess, but it's something.

enjoying the ride ... my eyes are always open to new experiences and new people to share them with. i'm searching ... i guess that is the best way to put it. then again, aren't we all?

lots of stuff. and there's a lot of stuff that i'm horrible at. i'm really bad with capitalization when typing. i'm really good at going off on tangents and knowing precisely when to stick my tongue out in pictures. i'm a good listener and problem-solver. you want a party or vacation planned, i'm your girl. you need someone to bake you a cake, i have a friend for that. i'm good at saying the wrong thing at precisely the right time, and the right thing at the wrong time. i've recently learned that i'm pretty damn good at skeeball.

i don't know. i'm pretty sure someone else would be in a better position to answer that question.

too many to list, in all of those categories. i'll try to keep it simple:

i read a lot, of everything from history and biographies to fiction ... actual books, nothing on a kindle or nook or whatever else you want to "play" your books on. i like how they smell when you open them, and i like how it feels to physically turn a page.

i love horror/thriller movies, most of them don't actually scare me, but i try to watch as many as i can. saturday afternoon b movies are always fun, that's also when i try to catch up on the "movie list" that i've been creating for years.

tv isn't my favorite thing, i use it to put me to sleep most nights. but, if i have to pick some favorites -- i like cooking shows, even though they make me super hungry. crime dramas are fun, most amc shows are pretty great.

music is probably the toughest one, i love music. absolutely could not live without music in my ears. and i like all kinds of music, except jazz. i also love going to live shows and concerts, whether they are in small venues, bars, or big arenas, live shows are great!

i have lot of favorite foods and love trying new restaurants. i try to have an open mind when it comes to culinary tastes.

i could never live without my friends, family and pets. i'm sure everyone says that, but i probably would curl up in a ball and hide in a closet somewhere if i didn't have those creatures in my life .

good food. i love food, all kinds of food.

music. without music, life would be silent and boring and that is not a life i would want to live. there is a constant soundtrack playing in my head.

water. i have always felt the most at peace when i'm near a body of water.

good beer. i don't necessarily mean fancy beer; although i do like trying new and different brews. i'll leave it there. if you want to know about my beer drinking exploits, send me a message :)

passion, creativity, color and spice. without these things in life, everything would just be gray and tasteless [not that i don't like gray, it's one of my favorites, but ... who wants to be surrounded by it?]

how to fix all the things that are broken, what things need to be broken, and how to make the world a better place. i also spend a lot of time thinking about why i can't sleep, but that's mostly when i'm in bed and can't sleep.

searching for good live music and a decent beer, but that's getting harder and harder to do. so, i usually give up on the music and do a little bar-hopping. some fridays i prefer to hang out at a friend's house doing something ridiculous like perfecting "mini-keg stands" and plotting world domination or damnation, depending on our moods.

aside from being on a dating site .. i guess it's that i am STILL afraid of frisbees.

you know how to and want to have fun and a good conversation.

i don't know what "type" of relationship i'm looking for, but i'm open to suggestion. if something comes of those friendships/relationships, who i am to argue with the universe.
