My self-summary
I spend most of my time alternately railing against the system and hiding from it with the help of a book (or six). Though I'm single I'm not dating, but people are always interesting and there's nothing wrong with being a bit nosey on the interwebs sometimes. You'll find me in the 50's dress with an obscure beer and that steaming aura of umbrage that raging feminists give off in public.
What I’m doing with my life
Technically I have a job, but the nine-to-five isn't what I'd call 'doing' anything with my life. I train for roller derby and smash the binary, whilst maintaining both intellect and elegance in abundance.
I’m really good at
Words, beer, doing my own hair, defying society, leching, reading really fast, cooking vegetarian food, enjoying myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
My air of generalised perplexity, or the striking appearance of the being the indiest kind of wanker?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Diana Wynne Jones, Dickens, Wodehouse, Austen, the Brontës, Agatha Christie, Wilkie Collins, Kipling, Margaret Atwood, Thakeray, Tolstoy, Twain, Susan Coolidge, L. M. Alcott, L.M Montgomery, Jonathan Safran Foer, Orwell, CS Lewis, Kerouac, Arthur Ransome, Antoine De Saint-Exupery, Jasper Fforde, almost everything else.

Rocky Horror, A Town Called Panic, R.E.C, all musicals, John Waters films, retro exploitation, Troma films, trashy horror.

Blues, hiphop, 60s gal groups, rock'n'roll, rockabilly/psychobilly, electro, country.

Vegetarian foods full of spices and lentils and garlics and veges. Craft beers and expensive whiskeys and pinot noir. Anything made of tofu or full of lemon.
