My self-summary
I'm a student with three more semesters to go in a professional program. I'm quite excited about being done university and starting my career.

I'm looking for a good personality fit with someone. I am pretty dedicated to what I do and would love to share my life with someone. My ideal partner is confident and independent, but still affectionate. I'm looking for someone who appreciates the time we spend together.

Please note, I'm hesitant to put a lot on here, but I would be happy to share a lot more privately!
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to live up to my ambitions.
I’m really good at
...things I dedicate myself to!

I'm a good listener, detail oriented, and I think I've learned how to write well (I'm pretty keen on good spelling and grammar and appreciate the same in others).

I also think I'm a good cook. My repertoire is limited but expanding, and I execute it well.
The first things people usually notice about me
I come across as serious (but once you get to know me and my deadpan humour, you'll realize that's not the case).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I can't remember the last time I've been able to finish a novel, but I really enjoy authors like Gabriel García Márquez and Douglas Coupland.

TV: Game of Thrones, Arrested Development (minus the "fourth" season), Curb Your Enthusiasm, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Boardwalk Empire, Suits (guilty pleasure), Orange is the New Black (very guilty pleasure).

Music: almost everything. According to Songza, I'm into Scandinavian music and "Coffee Shop Indie" these days.

Movies: Vanilla Sky, 300, Das Leben der Anderen, Fight Club, The Matrix, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Lolita, Sin City, The Truman Show, Paris, je t'aime, Inglorious Basterds, La piel que habito (huge bonus points for those who've seen this).

I find horror movies unpleasant.

Food: I love good, unpretentious food. I eat a lot of different things and never hesitate to try a new restaurant or recipe (with some limits)
The six things I could never do without
human interaction

I spend a lot of time thinking about
What kind of changes the world will undergo during my lifetime and what to have for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
out having fun, running errands, sleeping, doing homework, watching Netflix/YouTube, reading something arcane and useless, working out, or some combination of the above.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Maybe that I'm on here--but I think the stigma of meeting people online is undeserved and changing. After all, I may meet someone amazing here whom I'd never otherwise encounter in real life.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–27
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
you think we might hit it off, you like a good debate, you want to learn some verb conjugations, you need a tennis partner, or maybe you'd like to sell me something unique (I've got enough quality knives, thank you).
