Attorney by day, writer by night. Mostly short stories, but for a
while, I was banging out a stupid novel now for National Write a
Novel Month. Other times, I have been known to bang on the guitar.
Last year, I bought a used Stratocaster and a mini-amp! Some days I
feel like a rock star. I actually used to be a rock 'n' roll
reporter like that little punk in Almost Famous.
I miss that job...
I've been running a lot lately - at the gym; to Downtown and back; at the beach, etc. I ran a marathon back in October and I'm thinking that's the last one I'll do.
I like the ocean and the beach and try to get out there at least once a week. Once, I ended my Saturday run by running right into the waves.
That was refreshing...
I always wear SPF cream, which is maybe why people always seem surprised when I tell them my age. They usually guess around 30.
Perhaps, though, I look young because of some form of arrested development...
Or maybe it's because I laugh a lot - and loudly.
Or because, sometimes, I sing out loud in public.
In any case, I would like to meet ONE woman of beauty, charm, intelligence, wisdom and, hopefully, with a little bit of an edge. It'd be nice too if she enjoyed music, movies, books and the occasional camping trip. Sure, I would also like lots of overlapping interests, but it's not a requirement (healthy debate is good).
Although I've been lucky to fall in love several times in my life, I have never been married. That being said, I am certainly not against marriage and in fact I am for it - with the right woman!
I would like to find a love that will grow and evolve, however that may manifest itself. Friendship first is fine. I've done the rush-into-a-relationship-first-and-then-sort-out-the-mess thing enough times to know it may not be the best route.
